Good for him. If this is what he chooses, in the best interest for himself and his family, great. Additionally, I think it also starts to be a little silly when...oh, lets say you're a 43 year old man and you are still running around playing a kids game...grow up and move on with your life.

Patriots Patrick Chung beats the rap

I know, right?! I let my neighbor borrow my lawn mower and when I come home there is a fully tiered and thriving prostitution business geared towards varying preferences and proclivities with a website (dollars2donutsdecentdivas.org) with a functioning offshore credit card verification system...weird. -
Sammy Watkins: New Teams, Same Bad Attitude

Oh, I am not angry, teef. Forgive me for just popping in late to the party. I haven't been paying attention to the back and forth. I was bothered by the way they lost, because if they were going to lose I imagined it would be that way and I probably won't be over the loss fro awhile and the wasted opportunity, but I am on board with this administration. ...I just want this administration..plus something. -

I love this staff, but I would like to see something more and I don't know if we are going to see it: -

I like that that the $8 million guy told the $16 million guy to straighten out. -
Dan, on another board someone provided excerpts from the MLB Report. The below portions of the report provided by that guy on another message board: Are they 100% innocent? No, but I do feel bad for both these guys as they are most assuredly the fall guys for this. Jeff Luhnow (General Manager). Luhnow adamantly denies knowledge of both the banging scheme and the efforts by the replay review room staff to decode signs and transmit them to the dugout. The investigation revealed no evidence to suggest that Luhnow was aware of the banging scheme. The investigation also revealed that Luhnow neither devised nor actively directed the efforts of the replay review room staff to decode signs in 2017 or 2018. Although Luhnow denies having any awareness that his replay review room staff was decoding and transmitting signs, there is both documentary and testimonial evidence that indicates Luhnow had some knowledge of those efforts, but he did not give it much attention. A.J. Hinch (Field Manager). Hinch neither devised the banging scheme nor participated in it. Hinch told my investigators that he did not support his players decoding signs using the monitor installed near the dugout and banging the trash can, and he believed that the conduct was both wrong and distracting. Hinch attempted to signal his disapproval of the scheme by physically damaging the monitor on two occasions, necessitating its replacement. However, Hinch admits he did not stop it and he did not notify players or Cora that he disapproved of it, even after the Red Sox were disciplined in September 2017. Similarly, he knew of and did not stop the communication of sign information from the replay review room, although he disagreed with this practice as well and specifically voiced his concerns on at least one occasion about the use of the replay phone for this purpose.

Respectfully, and I want to be really f***ing clear about my opinion on this: no they are not. This teams values above all else things like comradely, faith, defense, brotherhood, and having each others backs...all are fine. However, until they value scoring in the same breathe as the above, until they are greedier than Gollum is over his Precious with putting points on the board, until they deem a 17-13 win in post game as failure by at least stating, "we didn't score at least 3 tds," then this team isn't really that far from the team on the field in 2018 and a good receiver here and a stout tackle there isn't going to fix it. ...they lost on Saturday because they don't love points as much as they love other things...and that is a sickness that I am not sure those in the room know how to cure.

Some of us are kidding ourselves with the miami dolphins. They had a miserable team this year, yet due to good coaching this team went 5-4 in its last 9, 5-3 against teams not named Bills and have 3 first round draft picks next year. If they hit on a qb the will very much press on the number 2 spot. Doesn't mean they'll get there, but I just don't see this team capping, at say, 7-9. The Jets have a terrible head coach, but a good defense. They could be a problem next year. Respectfully, I have no reason to believe that Bills will be ascending any quicker than those two teams. Please note though that with everyone ascending I can live with us at 12-4, Jets at 9-7 and Dolphins at 8-8. I just truly can't envision the Patriots ascending... I mean...to where. That is a team that, over all, should be thrilled if they finish 10-6 next year...downright thrilled. NOTE: This is my first post since the loss and the first time I've been back to this board since before the game...yeah, it bothered me that much. -

Please believe me, Haz, when I say I was going to mention Sally's, too. I just wanted to get the point across with at least one example. I am enviously of my friend who does not live so far away from both. ...ugh...this is killing me right now. I am looking forward to meatloaf at home in a few minutes, but I will be cheating on my dinner in my mind. -

Well said, but just to clarify one of your points I believe Forrest Greg wascoach of the Bengals for their first Super Bowl, against the Niners in 1981.

Your ideal playoff scenario to the SB (AFC)

It has...poetry and a satisfying denouement that would be agreeable and pleasing to the local fan base. A certain je n'ais quoi quality, that I can't quite put my finger on here*, but probably applies. * I know, geniuses, that's the joke...let it be. -
