First NFL "over/under wins" betting lines
dollars 2 donuts replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really don’t bet...at all. However, for the sake of argument, 5-4 in their last nine games with Fitz at QB, and you really think they CAN’T win...7 games in 2020? Tell me about what the Vegas name was for betting on a team that was 6-10 in 2018, similarly laughed at, and given an over/under of 6.5? They don’t have to win 8, 9, or 10 or make the playoffs. They just have to win 7. -

No, but they won 5 last year when many laughed and thought they wouldn’t win any, even during player give aways as ludicrous as theirs were last year. They will draft a QB this spring that will be better than what they had. They had a good coach that did well under ridiculous circumstances. ...and they beat the Pats in a game that matters while we still scratch our heads at 10-6 wondering just how to do that. edit: “also, it’s appropriate that the cowboys are ahead of the bills in win totals”, said no one with any common sense about football, especially after Brady left the division. -

I couldn’t agree more, PTR. Dolphins were a mess last year, and yet with a good coach and a QB with heart, they won 5 games. i honestly think they could be at least 8-8...but that’s a lot of teams. -
agree, especially with Dillon not being there in the 4th. If they want him and he’s there guy this year at RB they need to get him in the 3rd. however, even though I have spoken in the past about Rb almost being a dime a dozen that is more so in FA, resigning or early in the draft. I don’t think that logic applies to the middle rounds of the draft where I think there will be a run on them, no pun intended.

of course I want them to do better, but man, I could live with being a 10-6 division champion. enough of this, “we lose the division if we are not 14-2” garbage. watching a 6-6 cowboys team hold on to first place in their division while 9-3 Still put us two games back (if memory serves) was ridiculous.

also, HUDS, there are great receivers in this draft, but I believe there is still a learning curve with young receivers. ...heading into the fourth year into this regime, with two playoff appearances, is not “learning curve” time. He is a vet. so, true number one with Diggs, still deep ball threat with Smoke, and possession receiver with the Bease...and year two for Knox and Singletary. I am not unhappy.

SDS does a terrible job here at this Bills' site, and he wouldn't know a Buffalo Bill even if one former Bill Hall of Famer threatened to cut off his dome out in California. ...oh, I'm sorry, I thought this was the Super-Duper Unpopular Bills-Related Opinion. Just kidding, SDS. Love ya always! -

I know I am in the minority here, but I really don't have any problem with Directv. -

Yeah, we got to keep in mind, though, that it wasn't just Kelly's arm that was the no huddle. It was his play calling. Marino is a Hall of Famer and an all-time great. However, in all his years in Miami they never turned the offense over to him the way the Bills did with Kelly. The No Huddle worked because of Kelly. He wasn't just a cog. -

Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame

He was with the team for 10, but in his 8 years as a starter: 626 receptions (78.25/yr), for 8,523 yards and 46 TDs. ...damn straight with this, MJS. Side note (and I bring this up occasionally), when he retired from the League in 2007 he was the last player left to have caught a TD from Jim Kelly ('86-'96) -

Low bar, BB? That's a buried underground utility line. Quoting Winston Churchill, verbatim: "never has so many dollars been paid for so much expectation, and rewarded so little...Benjamin stinks." ...yes...WC was a prophet. -

If he stays on the team through halftime, then we've got a winner.
