Should he retire we will have seen two NFL QBs retire within a short time who, combined, have made almost half a billion dollars, just playing the game ($252 million for Eli and I just checked Brees...$244 million). Not judging at all, but just...I mean when you think about it...wow.

Yes, the events of what has been happening have been disappointing to me, but it hasn't shook my faith. That bugs some people when I say that, but it essentially comes from the fact that my faith is my own and it is my relationship with God. The failings of men are their failings and their inability to take right actions are frustrating, but it is on them. I am not judging the religious leaders throughout history, but I am and always have recognized their limitations, just as I have considered my own limitations and failings in actions taken, or what I have failed to do.

Everyone knows that the best place to watch an NFL game is at a stadium, with all its amenities and reasonable affordability. ...said some insane person. NFL, feel free to grab the profit you can. However, to focus on the stadium aspect of $$$ going forward is "like a long wait for a train that won't come". It is tired thinking by tired people...do better.

Speaking in broad strokes: sign the guys on this team that are important, or corner stones to their future, pick up 1 or maybe 2 reasonable FAs at positions of upmost need, and keep drafting as well as you have and let this thing keep building the way it has. Left over money to sign future home grown FAs? great.

Yeah...teef, man, we are all sinners and we all fall short at times. The guilt you are expressing here shows you feel something, so don't beat yourself up at all. However, I believe you would likely feel better if you did something to counter your feelings...not necessarily to the person you are trying to avoid, but maybe pay it forward by doing something nice to someone else when they appear to need it.

It is silly that as far as anecdotal bits of NFL history the fact that Jim Kelly beat John Elway, Dan Marino and Joe Montana in three straight AFC Championship games is rarely (if ever besides me) brought up. ...please don't go into the QBs not going against each other, but rather going against the defenses...I know, we get it. However, as QB starts go it is Kelly with the "W" and the other three with the "L".
