  1. Throw in Dirty. Add in a little Juicy. Bake on 350 until well done. and well...even if only some of these rumors are true, it may be about done.
  2. Look, I know some of you find all this titillating and interesting and we are in the ERA of COVID and out of the ERA of NEW ERA, and we may not even have a season, but can we get back to business here. Flutie or Johnson? ...and if you are tired of that, drums or flats? ...and if you don't know what I am talking about with the immediately above question...get out. Seriously, leave and don't come back. EDIT: Btw, you know it is a big day of NFL news when you have both Rae Carruth and OJ saying, "Holy s***, are you kidding me?!"
  3. I have now been witness to one of the greatest things ever put on twitter. My day...is brighter now. Thank you. EDIT: @Warcodered The true crime in today's events, Warcodered, is that after three pages I was the fist one to up vote your post.
  4. Eagles: "No fans in the stands for six months!" Press: "Due to Covid?" Eagles: "What?"
  5. Yes he did fight the native Americans. However, his feelings on his former adversaries greatly changed with the times. The below is from Wikipedia...OK, I know...its Wikipedia, but still...among other things. "As a frontier scout, Cody respected Native Americans and supported their civil rights. He employed many Native Americans, as he thought his show offered them good pay with a chance to improve their lives. He described them as "the former foe, present friend, the American" and once said that "every Indian outbreak that I have ever known has resulted from broken promises and broken treaties by the government."[24] Cody supported the rights of women.[24] He said, "What we want to do is give women even more liberty than they have. Let them do any kind of work they see fit, and if they do it as well as men, give them the same pay."[73] In his shows, the Indians were usually depicted attacking stagecoaches and wagon trains and were driven off by cowboys and soldiers. Many family members traveled with the men, and Cody encouraged the wives and children of his Native American performers to set up camp—as they would in their homelands—as part of the show. He wanted the paying public to see the human side of the "fierce warriors" and see that they had families like any others and had their own distinct cultures.[24] Cody was known as a conservationist who spoke out against hide-hunting and advocated the establishment of a hunting season.[24]"
  6. 20 games into the losing streak to Miami. At Rich Stadium on one of the end zone boards before the September 1980 game. The sign simply said: PLEASE Bills ended the streak that day, 17-7.
  7. Me, too, Doc. Every time I think of other names or rather read other names these two just force their way back in.
  8. Because it is away from your face, in the grid work of the helmet face shield. Like the representation of the Chicago Bears helmet mock up in this thread. ...and our masks today aren't full proof, and I am not saying this are necessarily, either. However, the question is why not still try?
  9. It is not just you, but I would still throw him a bone. Even if it is just $750k..and just for this season.
  10. I don't think its dumb, and why not do both? Some sort of covering actually on the helmet face mask, while not impeding breathing, would only benefit the individual. Additionally, people are getting confused that you get this through sweat, which you don't. Pile ups...OK, maybe an issue, but again it is not like these guys are face to face over an extending period of time.
  11. This. OK, maybe I don't take back my earlier "This" comment as it is not like he is getting the league minimum. However, still, you have to do right by a guy. Give him a reasonable bump, even if just one time.
  12. Serves you right getting suspended, JOE. Now will you PLEASE STOP MISQUOTING HITLER!!!!! Congrats on 50k, man.
  13. Irv, I'm glad you brought this up. I believe it is time to discuss one of the worst names in TSW history. It's not a long story. Mind you, it is not even remotely a good story. As a matter of fact, I believe afterwards you may threaten to fight me for wasting yours, and everybody else's, time with it. That said...and procrastinated...dollars to donuts was simply a saying from my (or maybe my father's) youth. I have always believed it to mean you were sure of something, a bet or position, in a discussion. "I'll bet you dollars to donuts, regardless of what some may think, that Adolph Hitler is a really, really, really bad dude." It popped into my head early on when I needed a name here (2003). I thought it was unique. I thought it was easy to understand. I was right on one of those things, but I still regret it and there is no looking back now. I don't live in the past, Irv, I live in the future! The Now is just in a constant state of flux like days old butter. Now if you will excuse me, I am exhausted and need to go pick up my lunch. (...f***, where did I put my keys?! Only living in the future blows) Honestly, MGK, in a million years this never would have occurred to me. I promise you if me and Mrs. Donuts (I don't call her that out in public...it draws stares) make this I will let you know how it comes out. Honestly, can't stop thinking about it right now. Thank you, my friend!
  14. Weber's. Horseradish. mustard...is a staple at the D2D's house, MGK! oh man, and on cutlets! I need to party with you down in Florida! ...mind you that's if you've quarantined for 14 days and give correct answers on the appropriate questionnaire, followed by 14 days of me quarantining when I get back to Buffalo, but those are just the small details.
  15. Great...now I can't stop thinking of gnocchi...I'm so hungry.
  16. Polancarz did it! He won, he got them to buckle! Yeah for politics...and...for inevitability!!! ...now for the love of all get out will he do something about the fact that I can't get mustard packets for my french fries at local drive through fast food restaurants?! #EverythingIsBetterWithMustard
  17. ? Yep, a US Grade A A**hole that one was.
  18. Great, fine. I don't even know what you can rely up now. John Wayne never said, "Pilgrim" in any movie. James Cagney never said, "You dirty rat!", to anybody AND NOW, apparently, Hitler never said, "white Jews "will blackmail America. [They] will extort America, their plan for world domination won't work if the Negroes know who they were." If I may paraphrase Potsie Webber, "When is anybody going to go on the record with this cockamame story?!" ...it was him or Ben Bradley. History and memory are a funny thing nowadays. #PleaseRestAssuredThatHitlerIsBurningInHellNowAnd4EverOh&F***Hitler!
  19. Never going to happen, HUDS...the food is sooo bad on the dark side.
  20. Anyone that can convince their husband to spend 1.4 billion dollars to keep a team in Buffalo, NY is a genius in my book.
  21. The world is changing, and I get it, and I am fine with it. HOWEVER, I wonder if any of these guys, ANY OF THEM, from players to coaches to owners, have the guts to do any outward manifestation to show support for victims of NFL players’ domestic violence against woman and children...above and beyond saying they are part of some organization off the field. Something they show on the field before the game. Possibly prostrating themselves, even during the national anthem (should it remain) in a show of support of all those innocents who have suffered at the hands of NFL players, while more often than not they go relatively unpunished. So honestly, I am down with what they feel they need to do and what they want to do to to get their message across. ...but the mirror has two faces and if you are going to be courageous...then for crying out loud don’t stop short.
  22. I may be part of the small group that brings this up, but I honestly think given the way he is in a number of fourth quarters, that if he doesn't get hurt against the Pats in that first game that maybe they pull that one out. If you keep all things equal, because otherwise it gets a little goofy, the Bills finish 11-5 and even if they don't win the tie breaker against the Pats at 11-5 I just think that mark causes a lot of these question go away. ...certainly not all of them, but a lot. A victory against the Pats, another comeback win, yada-yada-yada.
  23. What I like about the signing? It will give that much more attention to the AFC East. The 2020 Bills are going to "do The Nasty" to rest of the AFC East and the NFL this season. And the Bills... ...Like... Doing The Nasty!
