  1. Cattaraugus is just north of Little Valley and the school is actually named "Cattaraugus Little Valley"... so where is this Allegheny/Limestone reference coming from? Limestone is right on the NY/PA border... which is a bit south of Cattaraugus. I used to drive through there in both directions 5 days a week on route 219 when I was driving truck many years ago.
  2. I'm thinking he gets community service at the most... and the judge & all of the Tyler cops get free jerseys.
  3. If you've got an Amazon Prime membership Motel Hell is a free watch. Like I said previously... we watch it at least once a year, usually around Halloween and that's how we watch it.
  4. I absolutely will NOT be watching one minute of this game! However... if by chance one of those 49ers finally makes a fantastic pancake play on that little girly-girl running around with the #15 on his Chief's jersey I'd highly appreciate it if one of you watchers could provide a gif of that in here for my future viewing pleasure. I'd watch that gif over & over and be bummed out that I missed it in real time!
  5. Yeah... Farmer Vincent had that post hole auger on the back of his little farm tractor for digging the holes to plant his critters in. They had to cut their vocal chords too so none of the visitors to the factory could hear them screaming. It was also one of John Ratzenberger's earlier roles... filmed shortly before he became well known as Cliff Clavin on Cheers. Wolfman Jack had a bit part in there too as Brother Billy. I don't think it was initially intended to be a comedy but it's certainly one of the funniest "horror" movies I've ever seen!
  6. Motel Hell gets my vote featuring the one & only Rory Calhoun as Farmer Vincent and his lovely sidekick Nancy Parsons... we watch that flick at least once a year! You will forever have the phrase etched in your mind... "it takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent's fritters!"
  7. Do what this guy said... I come from north of Batavia and that's the same way I go. From the time I leave my driveway I'm at the 219 intersection in 45 minutes at the most and then usually another 15 minutes or so for that final mile.
  8. Maybe you need to clean your ears out? The man specifically said he's in an emergency vehicle and chances are pretty likely that he doesn't need to "hold his phone" to talk on it since he's obviously in a "modern" vehicle... as opposed to those older prehistoric vehicles without hands-free capabilities that apparently you have.
  9. I've noticed you keep spelling DON Paul's name incorrectly with two "n"s... so I feel like I gotta play grammar Nazi here to let you know and maybe save you a little ink in your electronic pen. There has never been a better and more precise meteorologist for this area than Mr. Paul... it's extremely rare for him to not be 100% accurate!
  10. You might want to look through all 18 pages of this thread. I'm seeing quite a few people beyond trembling in their boots and a couple that I think might have filled them already.
  11. This is exactly the same thing I'm seeing from all of the LOCAL forecasts here around Buffalo. You guys with the sky is falling attitude (nice play on words there) need to relax, you sound like a bunch of little school girls for cryin out loud!
  12. Really! W-T-F is up with this "Private Video" crap?
  13. They want me to pay for a subscription to read this... how did you two get it free?
  14. There's another saying I've heard along that line... "Life is like a bucket of shi*... with the handles on the inside!"
  15. Yeah... I know and don't let my activity record here blur things. I was lurking here for many years before I decided to join and I don't post much. It's more fun watching everybody else get hammered from all angles over nothing 😀
  16. Color me weird I guess... I just can't stop shaking my head in disbelief that there's SIXTEEN PAGES worth of crap here over a tweet from a nobody that apparently a whole slew of folks here are swallowing like candy & asking for more!
  17. This keeps getting sillier by the day! Here we are on page 16 four days later now about some fictitious meeting that a guy named Grant Gilchrest posted in a tweet. Who could possibly doubt a tweet from this highly regarded "NFL beat reporter for GGSN". What's the odds that "GGSN" could possibly stand for Grant Gilchrest Sports Network... live from Grant's mom's basement? Inquiring minds want to know!
  18. But this wasn't a high level business meeting... it was a secret player's only meeting. At least that's what the dude with a couple followers on X that used to be Twitter said that somebody told him. I still think they all screwed up on the secret handshake and nobody got into the meeting.
  19. Yeah... pretty awesome ain't it? Better yet... I Googled "buffalo bills player's only meeting" and the only thing that shows up are links to TBD.
  20. Well the dude did say that he was told the player's only meeting was going to be early tomorrow morning. Since today is always yesterday's tomorrow maybe we'll get some legitimate follow-up info about this mystical player's only meeting by the time this thread hits 20 pages? What I really want to know is who told this highly regarded dude that has a couple followers on X that used to be Twitter about this player's only meeting. Maybe everybody has to use the secret handshake to get in and nobody can remember it?
  21. Weird... I can't believe these guys are able to keep their players only meeting this confidential... but here we are... 20 hours and ten pages later!
  22. Fuel oil works much better than gasoline. The fuel oil stays on their wings and they can't fly if they do make it out of the hole... gasoline will just evaporate and they will still be able to fly if they make it out. Wait until at least an hour after sundown and pour about a half gallon of fuel oil/diesel fuel down the hole. I've done this five times now in my yard over the past three years and I have never seen any activity at all around the hole the next day.
  23. I believe it was WBEN back then and I think it was the later part of the 70's when it became WIVB. Chuck Healy was the big bowling announcer back then... that was just shortly before"Van" became the REAL man!
  24. If you're as archaic as I am you might remember that Thruway lanes was also where the "Beat The Champ" TV show aired from every week back in the early 60's. I can't remember crap I did last week but I remember Nin Angelo being the reigning Champion on that show for a record setting run of 19 weeks! My father took me down there near the end of his run once to see the show live and I got a black & white autographed picture of him.
  25. St. Gerards Church at Bailey & Delevan had a few alleys... we lived right across the street from it and I stuck pins there in the late 50's and early 60's. I used to "hop alleys" for double pay when enough kids didn't show up to set pins and walked out of there with close to three bucks a few times after a night of league bowling... about a buck in pay from the church and then another buck or two in tips from the bowlers! That was like mega-bucks for a young kid back then! I remember we used to warn each other when the power bowlers were on the alley so we could get out of the pit area... some of those guys would make the pins fly over the little wall between the alleys back there and into the next lane... Good times!
