This is what happens when you get cool hair

I've been there once. It's good. Can get a little bit crowded and I ended up drinking far too much. But it delivers on the 'Bills bar' promise. I tended to go to 'less organised' half of the bar as I'm not an instinctive pack-animal. Quite a few Buffalo natives there too - people on holiday etc. Enjoyed drinking with them. I learned that Trump was very popular and Tyler Bass doesn't tip well in restaurants.

Over it. Life goes on. But that's the season done for me. The superbowl can get bent. Too many 3.30am finishes this season on school nights. I'm now exhausted. Looking forward to catching up here during the draft. I've enjoyed this forum a lot this season - it's a great way to feel connected while being an ocean away.

This is rare but I agree with this analysis

Still not bad for his first full season as an OC. He'll improve. He's 35. And yes. Cook is a must. Surely. -
A "Tush Push" to the right just once would have been nice....

Just the intensity of the play I imagine. Like I say it’s a scrum. but it might not be that: it was just a guess. I suppose the real reason could be that Josh - one of the best qb runners in the nfl - just never thought of ‘going to the other side’. It would just never have occurred to him to do something that a ten year old child could think of. Anyway, it's water under the bridge now. Have a nice summer! -

I guess he could. He could hold it between his legs, technically. Just feels less secure don't you think - especially for what's basically a rugby play. -
Why moving on from McDermott is tough due to logistics

Ah you see, I'm not as fortunate as you. I am unable to predict the future with quite the same accuracy. And, unless that decision is to hire Andy Reid, it's always going to be a big ask. Not sure there's a coach alive who would beat him immediately without a few seasons setttling in. Still, overtime with no possession 3 points. 3 points. It doesn't seem insurmountable if the KC walrus starts to tire. Seems a safer bet to me - but, as I say, I am not gifted in the art of future telling. -

Yeah, that was disspointing. I really thought he'd have schemed for cooper post season. Nope. The gameplan is the gamplan. -

I'll take that 'weakness' over the 'strength' we saw in the period between 1994 and when McD arrived. Its not like we're even going backwards. It's clear we're growing every year. Everyone thinks Harbaugh is great - well, he couldn't get past the divisional this year with an MVP quarterback, MVP-contender running back and quality across his whole roster on both sides of the ball. Everyone thinks Shanahan is great - well, he couldn't get to playoffs with one of the most complete rosters I've ever seen. Everyone thinks Dan Campbell is great - but he's bottled it in his successive playoffs running (albeit with injuries). There was a time after 13 seconds when Bills fans even had McDaniel envy - I mean COME ON. McD is up there with the best coaches in the NFL. Obviously he is. He's just consistently being pipped by one of the best to ever coach the game. His old Jedi master. And there's not another coach in the NFL who is going to out coach Andy Reid. (though Barkley might have a field day in the SB). Being a bounce of a ball away from the best is not a bad thing - the internet will blame the coach for the bounce specifically - but the real coaching story is being that close to begin with. To even be hostage to the marginals is a story of how far we've come. I don't think the problem is with McD. In fact, I don't think there's a problem at all. Defeat is just a part of the game. One that 31 teams have to experience every season. -
Von Miller didn't really show did he. Got to be the worst signing in Bills history considering the cover we could have had in other positions (cough cough secondary) if we hadn't paid him here. Nothing against Von himself, he's been injured and he's been trying and is a great of the game. But I can't think of a worse value signing at a more clutch time for the franchise. Can't think of one game where he made a difference we couldn't have made without him. Enjoyed seeing him sprinting up the field with the ball last week. Hopefully, it's my last memory of him in the blue, red and white.

It might have something to do with the fact that if he goes left the ball is protected on the inside in his right arm. And if he goes right, it's massively exposed to being knocked out. OR it might just be that Josh and the entire Bills coaching team didn't think of ever going the other way. Because that would such as an obscure and expert concept reserved only for the TBD brains trust and chess grandmasters. -
At what point do we start blaming Beane ?
Danger Mouse replied to TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th's topic in The Stadium Wall
almost immediately, would be my guess. -
Tell me who in the NFL has beaten Reid and Mahomes in the last three post-seasons? And only one AFC coach has done in it the last 6 seasons. And you sure as hell don't want that clown here.

People can think what they like. But McDermott will be here next season, and rightly so.
