Riley Leonard is the Gen Z? Jimmy Klausen. sp? 170 maybe Caldwell? or at least a good spot for David Walker.

I would not be surprised if Beanes got a couple of backs in mind. If Cook looks to hold out even to the start of camp, draft the best RB you can, trade Cook for a 2026 2nd during the draft and use our own 2026 2nd to get us at least a mid 3rd. Our later picks will serve us better then.

Using Beane’s past 7 drafts to try and predict 2025 picks

As a rule I would say draft all SEC. and UB -

Beane drafts for need every year. This year we need DT and Corner. He has enough bodies at Corner so I bet we're going DT first. And I think it's the only position he'll trade up for. If we have to jump Wash. and/ or Detroit so be it. We also can't sit and hope our pick gets past KC and Philly. Corner can wait a sec. -

Scournton's ok at 30 so long as all the other DTs are gone. We do need a 2 down end behind Bosa, but if Philly gets Nolan I will fall farther off the wagon. -

I think they picked Kincaid because it was talked about all off season Brady wanting to run 12 personnel. -
Oh yeah, I remember that thread.

There's a rumor that 2025 has some character issues and may slide as far as 2026.

wow I could live with this.

I was just saying since NFL.com comped him to JP , if we're gonna carry 5 maybe...whatever, I think this guy with the right system and culture will be a force on some interior Dline and a later 3rd would be a good pick for us especially if we don't double dip early. IDK, watched the highlights on NFL.com and the guy could reach both ends of the line from the middle. lol -

Going off 2023. 55 tkls 12.5 tfls 7.5 sacks 2 pbu 2nd team all SEC. Projected 3rd. NFL comp. Jordan Phillips. 6'7 331 34 1/4 arms. Detroit kid so cold shouldn't be a thing. Sign JP til at least week 7 to whip him up. Don't need him to play 100% of snaps. -
I agree and as another poster above noted TJ's play last year, Starks would be great to spell him and/or play dime. Best I can hope for given McDs speed, Maybe he can not be beat out of a starting role.

Give me Nolan and if we get a late late 3rd Deon Walker. Cut Jones and sign JT who can mentor Walker...since that's who his nfl comp is. Decide on Ogun later. Then we can go edge then Porter or either way. -
34 I'm praying for Nolen with the 1st pick. 56 Landon Jackson 62 Darien Porter No way am I taking a player with injury history this early. I'll take Tariq Woolen 2.0 65 Xavier Watts 132 Donte Thornton 169 Frazier would be great pick here. 170 Ty Robinson

I really like this but would hope at 132 C.j. West or Caldwell

I'd be fine with this if 56 was Williams or Collins. Really impressed with Walker and Ivey is an immediate 2 down starter behind Bosa that eliminates the need for a Smoot re-signing and would also be an animal sliding inside. -
I'm willing to bet Ty Robinson will be one of the Bills picks at some point.
-
Then Collins or Jackson and Porter.
-
I think maybe it does. They at least wanna let everybody know they're not backing themselves into a corner back. FWIW. I don't care about the "top tier of injured, no production guys. To me there's really no difference or little from them to Strong, Parrish, Bryant etc. I want Porter no matter what because of that. We can find just as good as those in the "top tier" later.

Well hopefully it's the same this year with DTs. -
I would hope to be able to sit at 30 and get Nolan. There's no telling how things will turn out. Ahead of us we have Detroit and Wash. Below us we have KC and Philly. We may have to jump Detroit or hope we don't lose out trading back. I could see either Safety or Scournton if all the DTs are gone, but hoping for Nolan at 30. As far as a 3rd goes, I'm a big advocate for using a 1st or 2nd from 2026. However if there were to be a trade down,to 36 and a 5th to the Jags for 70. If that were the case I could see... 36 Jackson 56 Collins 62 Porter 70 Thornton 109 T.J Sanders There's just no way of telling how the first 25 will go.

The first two are maybe a realistic need. Trade with Minny who could have taken Emmanwori but needed picks and Grant ahead of Detroit who is most likely looking to bolster their Dline.

Does anyone remember last year's GENERATIONAL WR draft? A lot of posters were pounding the table for Troy Franklin or some combination of receivers. I wanted the guy that went to Carolina paired with Ladd. Point is all we talked about was WR. This year the draft is loaded at Dline and is the no.1 subject. Then last year some or a lot of ballyhooed WRs went way later, Franklin being a great example. Will the same thing happen this year? Will Beane sit on his hands again and trade down to get an end of the 3rd pick?... Will we sit through the entire 3rd rd. doing nothing? He can't ignore the Dline any longer, but he''l probably take a Corner who won't play til October and a guy like Farmer being our top DT pick.
