  1. Porter at 56 then move on.
  2. The only DB I would pick at 30. Barron can play both slot and out day 1.
  3. I'd also like to get another big guy to make 2 solid pairings. Nolen and ED then maybe a Collins and Carter. If we can manage a 4some like that, we should be able to go into the 1st 6 weeks with a much better lineup. DQ this year is gonna be like when we kept Star too long. cut. Bring JP back at least until week 6. Heck, maybe they can add Caldwell later.
  4. Looks good! what was the trade?
  5. Very interesting
  6. To me it's the smart thing to do. I'm afraid he's gonna draft down and we'll watch 3 or more BPAs go by...for like pick 95 or we'll give up a 2 and both fours to go up 3 spots in the first. Am I having flashbacks? I guess this should be in the Doomsday thread..
  7. I would not allow myself to complain.
  8. Day 2 wasn't much better.
  9. I would gladly send next year's 1st to them for 36 ( from 56 )and 70 instead. Probably still do it for 88. This draft could be a generational one. 30 36 62 70 or 88 109 132 6 core players to supercharge the back 9 for Josh.
  10. I think they'll get a deal done by camp. I don't mind 10 mil x3. I would like to think they'd make him play out the year before topping 12. I would.
  11. I would bet money on that. They let Olujari walk when he wouldn't have broke the bank and then the QB thing. I could see them going Kyle McCord in rd. 2 or on the Arch Manning train maybe.
  12. I think Nolan can be the closest thing to Chris Jones that we could find.
  13. The way the last TSW mock went would be ok with me. We can probably still find a couple of good edges later. Maybe Ivey, Walker? Both would be great. Really?
  14. I would be happy. I'm sure they'll at least double dip at DT before 109. Would be cool to grab one or both of those Nebraska dudes later on.
  15. I think they;ll both be gone so I'd be fine with Nolan...who Greg Cosell says is the top DT. Follow that up with Edge and Porter. IDK, one thing I do know is that Beane will probably make me go WTF? never woulda guessed that.
  16. I wouldn't complain one bit. These 3 with Ed and Carter could cement this line for years. Philly style. Concentrate on one area at a time.
  17. I don't wanna lose Cook. I think this deal would be perfect.
  18. Why not? We can move up from 62 and get a decent 3rd. Even if they don't trade Cook, he'll at least be a 3rd rd. comp. It's not like we're gonna need ammo to move up next year for a QB. Relax, let the draft come to us and make smart picks. This is the year to play with a little house money and have a good, solid draft.
  19. That's why I think he'll likely fetch a better pick for 26. They could still not say another word and just trade him next weekend. Pick 70 to the Jags? ie. I want to keep him, but there seems to be a lot of hoopla going on with visits etc.
  20. Well if he's selling his house and doesn't want to be here, money's moot. Let's talk comp pick.
  21. Once I hear the words lunch pail, I'm out.
  22. I would bet he gets us a 2nd..2 in 26. That;s why I'm all about taking the end of the first rd. pick next year and spend it now. At least 2 teams have 2 picks in the 2nd and 3rd. We could end up wIth a good core crop without the screwing around. Go shopping
  23. However, until we get a line that can do the job, we gonna have to load the box. 911 in no time.
  24. While he's capable of blitzing and contributing against the run, his tackling leaves much to be desired, and he tends to shy away from contact at times. His lack of physicality when tackling could limit his effectiveness in specific defensive schemes that require corners to play a more aggressive role against the run. ( Bleacher Report)
