  1. I agree, signed Fred Warner.
  2. He's gonna be Edmunds replacement next year.
  3. Base nickel doesn't stop Henry, Taylor the Pats RB crew or any other big back. Taron Johnson cannot bring them down...and BTW that was 3 losses which ultimately prevented the no.1 seed and home games throughout. They are going to have to be smart enough to play a 4-3 against teams they need to when they need to. Unfortunately, adapting week to week to specific opponents is not Frazier's strong suit. We are going to be in the same boat this year given our schedule of teams that are gonna try to stuff it down our throat and keep Allen off the field....Just like the "We gonna rush 4 and hope to get pressure" is a sign of another stuck in their ways coaching approach. I hate not being able to use Frazier and creative in the same sentence and sadly I don't think that'll change. Not to go too far off topic, but not only do they need to adapt a 4-3 against heavy run teams, they need to play press man. more. I believe they can do it with Elam....and while their at it, why not try a 5-2-4. when Lorax was here he would slide in over the guard and was a huge upset for olines doing that. That's the perfect role for Boogie. P.S for all the bashing Klein gets, he made more big plays than T.E.
  4. Man that sounds good. Thanks
  5. Back in the 70's thru the 90's, it was basically Franks, butter and Tabasco. I like to use that base as a starting point and get creative. I want a little smokiness and spice. I like to use a little liquid smoke, roasted red pepper and garlic seasoning and I like to try different Tabascos. I also do not skimp on the Bleu cheese. Marie's or T. Marzettis.
  6. Fan since 73, I get a little inner twinge of jinx when there's this much hype. However, I can take solace and be happy that I likely won't be figuring mathematical equations for getting into the playoffs at Thanksgiving or looking at draft picks in early Dec.
  7. Well put. I mentioned earlier that in the K.C. playoff game, he looked...to me, like a bewildered rookie. However K.C.'s rookie Nick Bolton looked like a seasoned vet. Fred Warner Tremaine ain't. Also agree about the mental side. You can just tell when you hear players talk during interviews and I heard a lengthy one recently. I'm not too optimistic about any drastic improvement. I have a ton of respect for players who try hard to improve their craft in the off season. TE university, Pass rush summit, Jordan Palmer etc. Even Singletary did it. I don't get the idea that Edmunds thinks he needs any of that. Maybe that's because ( and let us not forget), he was pick no. 16. He says he just needs to trust his instincts and what he sees more. I won't be surprised if Bernard impresses in some way this year and they bring in new talent be it draft or Free agency. next year.
  8. 50/50 I agree, but in the K.C playoff game it looked like it was his first time in an NFL game. I'm not expecting much if any improvement in YEAR 5.
  9. Frazier did indeed say that Tremaine needs to make more splash plays. That statement was brought up to him during an interview. He says that he just needs to trust his instincts and what he sees more. Well not trying to be a hater, but I've seen enough to where I can't envision them even entertaining giving him 15 plus per year. I'm not thrilled with giving him almost 13 this yr. I get a sense about guys when I hear them speak and I'm sorry, I just don't think his brain matches his body. Maybe I'll be surprised.....
  10. I can't help but have the feeling he could turn into a Gabe Davis type so I'm not ready to throw the towel in yet.
  11. I had a random thought whilst pondering this subject. We don't look so bad now, do we?....signed Doug Whaley and Russ Brandon. I'm sorry, I had the Brown's situation going on in my mind. Note to self, don't need a whole Gummy.
  12. I would think the question would be, if the complaints include unwanted sexual advances resulting in at least one woman brought to tears, does that constitute sexual assault? It would seem so. I would certainly expect the league would view that way, especially given the number of complaints. Are there simply cases of gold diggers?...more than likely, but one thing proven in each one is that Watson's one stupid dude.
  13. Tommy Boy wouldn't have gotten up clapping after taking this hit.....Signed Brett Favre.
  14. Not projecting future FA signings or draft picks, I could see Barnard, Milano and Spector as a very good to great 4-3 LB setup. No way in H they can be dumb enough to pay Edmunds 15+ per yr. .I'll shave my head if he all off a sudden makes game changing play(s) this year.
  15. Exactly! signed...Lyle Alazado, Bill Romanowski...What are PEDS anyway? Deer antler spray? Nugenix? B12? I would think anabolic steroids were 2 or 3 decades ago. Maybe I'm naive.
  16. I agree and my impression was that he had/has a good aggressive pass rush ability and actually like him better than Dodson. He looked to me like a solid hitter. JMO
  17. I think Lamar...regardless of what any of us think of him, needs an agent like Drew R. Like the old saying goes..."He who represents himself, has a fool for an attorney" ....and I think he can go farther than Murray. I also think that being used the way he is may be weighing on his mind as to how long he will last, and I don't blame him. I'll give Roman credit for what he's done, but it ain't sustainable. All I can currently fault Lamar for is lack of common sense. Ma Ma Ma Ma Mamma says.....
  18. No argument there as far as Thomas and and Hamlin, however I do not know the" measurables and athleticism" I was and still am intrigued by what Ed Reed saw in the kid to make those statements. I'm sure we'll get to see more of these guys soon.
  19. I think the Honeybadger deal would be the marker. I think 9 mil. per is ok. I would think a 2 yr. deal with the 1st being mostly a signing bonus, On the other hand, Ed Reed said Joquain (sp?) Johnson would be a pro bowler for years, so there's that. I just think this is not the year to break up the safety tandem.
  20. I think he can work the 20 yd. outs just fine. I don't think he's limited to a slot WR at all. He may not have the home run speed , but is said to be a very good route runner. Billswire comps him to Antwan Randle'el.
  21. Last year I don't think they had the original starting 5 for most of the season. I think Bates will be fine at RG and am thankful he'll be able to help work with Brown, who I Think will be just fine going forward. Morse, Bates and Brown pulling right I would bet to be huge. Bring back the counter tre. That was money with Thurman. My concern is if Saffold gets hurt, Mitch gets concussed and or Brown gets nicked. We will be back to musical lineman again. I'm hoping they found some gems in the UFDA pool. Alec Anderson may turn into a good guard. I actually read on Billswire that Tenuta's NFL comparison is Joe Thuney. Cody Ford should have been turned into a draft pick.....like Darrien Kinnard.(sp)? I bet the oline is next offseason's big priority.
  22. Yeah, IDK Taylor was the first to come to mind when I pictured Greg becoming more dominant, with the long, swimmy, bendy rush. Someone mentioned Peppers and that would be fine, I'd like to see more power. Maybe he'll push the 280 lb. mark with added muscle. He also may end up with his own unique type of niche. Either way, I'm expecting to see major improvement. He IMO did very good for a rookie to be in there from day one.
  23. Back in the day of 10 cent wings and 50 cent Cream ale drafts, between foosball games in a smoke filled bar with the jukebox blasting the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac or later Kenny Rogers, I didn't take a solid crap for 20 yrs. Could never eat that many wings again....or Cream ale. Now I can't ....nevermind...
  24. I'm kinda hoping they use Miller the same way they did Lorax....inside the DE...Groot. That was very successful and being the vet Lorax was , he was able to lead from there. If they're gonna play " we gonna rush four", they better be creative with line stunts at times, see above. I think Shaq needs to try RE with A.J. I like Boogie inside.....IMO. They have to have Groot and Miller on the field at the same time. Looking forward to the upgraded DT play.
