I think this was the plan for 23. Beane is good at stepping contracts and they took care of The Dline this year. I bet this next off season he completes things with a kickass Oline.

I know this is the right thing to do. I've known it for over 4 decades, but I still feel like going berserk and my Mondays after a game like this are ruined. I hate Miami more than ever now. I'd also be surprised if the issue of Tua getting concussed going forward doesn't rear it's ugly head.

Forget 13 seconds....We now have 3rd and 22

We don't have the mentality to win close games

Absurdities? I see that' it's not the heat, its the stupidity. The defensive game plan was on college level save for a couple of stunts and blitzes, but the lack of anything thoughtful was amazing. It was just plain stupid. They did to us exactly what our game should have been. This staff....or the average Mafioso knew how to defend a team that deserved an ass kicking. While that will have to wait a while, I hope all the snow gets blown to the "visitors" sideline. -

Why do I get the feeling that if McD was the D.C. we would be better off. Why can't he put a foot in someone's ass instead of being beholden to his D.C's systematic approach, BTW, the 90's called and want they're Defensive game plan back. -

Until we get rid of the Rick Dennison of DC, we are gonna see the same ole same ole. Every time we blitzed, we had results, but the old we gonna rush fo killed us, 3rd and 22 and you rush 4? seriously?. Unbelievable , knowing you're down impact players and you give Tua all day long. Nothing will change without a younger defensive mind. Apparently that ain't happening this year. This defensive game plan was B.S. That's on you McD. Miami blitzed non stop and took away the time for the deep ball. Did we do the same? Oh hell no, we just let him sit back and pick us apart. -

What about Shaq? Is he still on the team? I think he's best suited to the inside.... -
Hot take: Secondary will be fine this week vs the fish.

You can't be serious...oops Ed Reed my bad memory. Earl is middle name. -
As far J.J goes, when he was drafted Earl Reed said he'd be a Pro Bowler for years. One name I haven't seen is Siran Neal. If the Bills do decide to Blitz, wouldn't be surprised to see him on the field. I afraid that Josh may end up leading the team in rushing yards. I hope the front 4 can lay the wood to Tua. I expect to see some line stunts. Hope to see A.J. hit Tua just like last year...on the first drive would be perfect. As far as Hill and Waddle....if they start trying to make those grabs on crossing routes, they need to be pummeled. Take the 15! I think the way to loosen up the Miami D will be Isaiah/Crowder and Knox. Maybe Cook will show some stuff. Build the lead and run it down their gullets in the 2nd half.

Forgive me if it's already been stated, but I wouldn't be surprised if the rookie corners play well. I'm hoping that we try some press man and clean Tua's clock. Also, when J.Johnson was drafted, Earl Reed said he'd be a Pro bowler....for years. This is the week to really throw down on defense be it adding some blitzing on occasion....maybe even give Bernard some snaps to make them think they can pull us out of nickel or run the ball. Mixing Shaq and Boogie inside now and then should work just fine against this Oline. Feel sorry for Greg Little. It does bother me that the line is 5.5, but maybe Vegas is going to try and make up ground for everybody putting their money on the Bills the last 2 weeks. How did the hoodie hold the Fish down? The Ravens just played a bad D in the secondary with a single safety (rookie) high. I'm not impressed. -
A Few Thoughts About the Titans Game, in no particular order
nosejob replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
My M.O. against the Fish is to lay the wood to Tua early and often. Get him queasy and rattled....if not take him out. I never expected the first 2 games to be blowouts, but this one, that's what I am hoping for. Our Dline should be able to wreak havoc against that Oline. -
I'm hoping for an A.J De'ja vu (sp?) hit on Tua. One more game of double digit wins and the Bills break a 70 year old record.... Not that that's more important than a W, but a good smackdown to put them in their place would be great.

Edmunds…back to back good games. Facts. (Update: Another good game)

That absolutely did not need to happen. He could have hurt Milano last week. JMO -

9/19/22 Gameday Titans at Bills Week 2 Pregame Thread MNF!

Yeah Dorsey is a little different cat than Dabol. I get the feeling he really wants to punish opposing defenses and I do believe I'm ok with that. -

I'm hoping they hit some swing passes in the flats to Singletary and Cook and gas em early. I'd like to see Isaiah get mixed in a little. I'm also curious if they'll play a little 4-3 and get a look at Bernard. -
Is there any way to watch other than amazon prime? I'M sorry I'm older. i haven't done the prime thing.

Well it's at K.C. so gotta give the W to them. 31-24

GR reporting both Tim Settle and Ed Oliver not practicing today
nosejob replied to richNjoisy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I 'm confident that Dorsey will adjust according to week to week opponents and I have been critical of Frazier doing the same. However, I'm hoping that they've finally evolved. He may be still committed to rushing 4 only and that's fine since we may be finally able to do it, but if we're down a man or 2 in the middle, we'll see how good of a D game plan McFrazier can put together. This week is obvious...stop Henry, force 3rd and longs. Get the picks. I feel fairly confident that given Saffold's experience and familiarity along with Morse and Bates, as well as Qberry's input we can handle it....against Simmons that is. -

I think if need be they need to move Shaq and Boogie inside. They can be creative and be fine. I'm also hoping they activate Bernard and run some 4-3 on early downs. I expect more get rid of the ball quick from Allen and perhaps Mckenzie gets some plays and YAC....set up the deep ball. They will need to keep Knox back to help block again, They always seem to be able to keep a fairly clean pocket when they do that. Who knows, do we see Shakir this week?
