Let's not forget Frazier is gone. McD said he wants to get more aggressive with and edge. I think he will use a lot more 4-3 and blitz some more. Different scheming and play calling with what we have could make a pretty good upgrade to our defense alone. I'd be happy with one of the top 3 LBs at 27, but they very well may not make it there. This board will implode when he takes the DT from Pitt who projects as the next Aaron Donald....but I wouldn't complain.

I don't know if it's been mentioned but Tremaine was an OLB/DE at Va. Tech. I never understood how they figured drafting him to play the middle and be the "QB" of the defense. Anyway, I just don't think he has the instincts. Maybe they put him outside and have success, who knows?

As someone who indulged in mushrooms in the early 80's, I can absolutely see how this is connected to much needed neurological research. I believe it can help,(albeit at low dosages). I've also always believed that pot can achieve similar results and why I have believed in the medical aspect of it. Draft 1. Kancey DT from Pitt. Next John Randle. Settle gone. 2 C/G take your pick here. 3 Safety from Illinois. I highly doubt Hamlin will continue. I don't think doctors will give him the green light and he probably has a lucrative career with foundation. If going through that again doesn't stick in your head, you got a big set. We will need a safety. Maybe we can find help at LB once Edmunds leaves or roll with Klein, Bernard/Spector, Milano in a more 4-3 thing. Either way, it shouldn't take much to fill that hole.
