I hope so! Beane has no choice. He should have stepped up and made a deal by the deadline. I'd still bring in Wilkins

1, 2, and 3 all have a common denominator. Josh leaving the pocket too early, too often. The last point....well

Joe B article - Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel, Gabe Davis
nosejob replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shavers and Davis on the outside makes the most sense. Palmer can run those deep posts and outside slants. Davis, Shavers, Palmer and Shakir with Keon being strictly red zone. Samuel should be the first to P.S. I have a hard time thinking Moore's gonna be targeted any more than he has been. -

Think about when Shoen was here and how it's gone since he left. -

For me it's Shoen and Gruden and for all of yous still calling him Chucky, take the time to watch his game match up you tube videos. He leaves no stone un turned and he doesn't talk crap. He's pure x and o. BTW our drafting went to hell when Shoen left. He's done good so far in ny -
Hate to say it, but we ain't seen nothing yet. If Walker, Bosa or Groot go down , forget about the WR roles. My biggest beef is pussing out on the trade deadline. One more Dline injury and it's gonna make having Davis, Palmer, Shakir and Coleman be the least of our problems.

McDermott statement in presser is telling concerning our offense

McD also knows a run game equals TOP and his poor defense doesn't have to be on the field. -

I am not about complaining about the WR spot. My beef is the defense. With all the injuries, going through the deadline was inexcusable and using the overbid, division rival argument is as lame as it gets. 2 free agents out 1st 6, Sanders will take 4 yrs. just like Ed, Hoecht is gone. Then there's Dwayne to the DR. right off the bat. Our rookie LJ is now also gone. DQ collecting free money for the last 2 yrs. Bosa is wearing a club. AJ was out today. We got Ogun, Walker thank God ( he'll want outta here), Jordan and that's it. I will give 72 some props. They don't even have enough brains to bring Logue up....might have to do with rules? But, but, but we couldn't find any trade partners. Well now we are screwed. Thank you very little BB. We can now see how it goes when you lose your best assistants. Maybe we coulda survived with running and 3 TE's, but no Dline....No beuno. Consolation prize to BB is maybe being able to trade out of the 1st from the teens. I almost forgot the genius off season moves in the 2ndary. Maybe another time. -

Ever since Joe Shoen (sp?) left. -
Or....as long as we keep selling ticks by making the post season every year, why change? Is that a possible company model?
-
Maybe Josh needed a mature qualified Man for an OC and not a peer....or cousin, drinking buddy, video game bro. IDK how he can go 23-26 and then the next week look like Peterman. I am on the blame McD train from here on out. If the best you can do is raise your voice at halfime, you already wasted 6 days.
-
If we have a head coach that can take a team from last week to today, every couple of weeks...every year, we don't have a head coach. When's the last time we saw Sean Payton look like ass....or even Vrabel. McD may be a good DC ...most of the time, but this team looked like they been drinking since last Sunday. NO MORE Don't get me started on Beane who after seeing half his defense go down, says Geez we got out bid...or a division rival wouldn't deal. We are screwed.
-
Who coaches this team from week to week?
-
He will lead the team in tackles today. Possibly even pick a tipped ball.

I think Hoecht showed He/ that was/is likely the missing link to getting over the top. I would have liked to have seen a touch more effort put into replacing him. -

I don't know if I can swallow this whole story. Were there only 2 guys worth looking at and they just happened to be in our division? In the meantime, the Titans were having a fire sale. Seems like Simmons was the only guy not moved. Claiming all your efforts were to deal with division rivals kinda steams my clams. If Beane came out and said, We just couldn't get it done say for Simmons, it was too much to pay, that'd be a lot more believable. I'm thinking I spent more effort cooking up trade scenarios than OBD. Anywho bring Wilkins in for a look see. -
I think its time - Call Christian Wilkins!

I say check him out. -
Would you rather playoff seeding scenario?
nosejob replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Obviously, the 1 seed. KC and Balt. may not make it to OP. -
Dorian Williams in the Hoecht/Lorax role?
nosejob replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Same size as Bosa. We need the element of power/ violence with that role.....what we just saw Sunday. THAT is what's gonna finally put us over the top.
