Anyone else feeling pretty good with the Bills?
nosejob replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I for one am not worried about the offense. I'm sure Beane isn't done. Nobody can predict what he'll do at the draft. And...I'd like to mention the huge number of game changing drops last season, including the last game played. 2 sources of those are gone. Cook will get better catching hopefully and I won't post the replay off the Diggs drop. F..in brutal We should have beat K.C. by 2 scores. We need to hope we hit on Impact type of DL players. If McD wants to try to stick to rush 4, he better have the horses cause with the likely line up in the secondary as it stands, we're gonna need it. Look how SF built their line. They had good success in the 1st half of the SB. Spags adjusted in the 2nd half and Wilkes didn't. We're gonna be forced to blitz a lot more and there's a fine line with that. I digress, gummy kicking in. -
The Case for Trading Back [Discussion]
nosejob replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some mocks have us trading to 26 (for a 4th) and getting Latu. NFL.com pro comparison...T.J.Watt. We need that and it could be a HR....for years. 2023: Won the Lombardi Award (nation's top college OL/DL) and Ted Hendricks Award (nation's top DE). First-team Associated Press All-American. Pac-12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year. First-Team All-Pac-12 Conference. Finalist for the Chuck Bednarik Defensive Player of the Year Award and the Lott IMPACT Award (Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community, Tenacity). Led the FBS with 21.5 TFL, tied for fourth with 13.0 sacks. Started 12 games (49 tackles, 2 INTs, 2 PBUs, 2 FFs). -
Pass rusher. A huge need not being talked about enough

Listening to OBL discuss this...2 4ths and a 5th or more won't even get us from 128 to the 3rd.....maybe the compensatory end of the round...maybe. -
I think Edwards is a tougher dude than McGovern.

Marvin Harrison Jr wants to be a Bill
nosejob replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
No absolutely not. Let him go to AZ. with Murray who will get hurt and then have watchyamcallits throwing to him, Get him on a trade or whatnot 3 yrs. from now. After we win a SB, he'll take a deal. -

Can't go wrong with LSU guys. -
Edwards will be a much better LG than McGovern. Maybe that's why they moved McGovern to C. I'm sure they'll draft one somewhere. Word on the streets is there were communication problems between he and Morse.

OK, I read the 1st and last page and not one word of Bio or anything. Youz should all be proud of your McD gave me the clap crap...sheesh.
-
I wouldn't complain if we ended up with Burton and Walker.

Starting to hear this more everyday.

I really hope we get him, but guess his home is Utah, so my money is on SF.

Jeremiah has us taking a DT at 28 in his latest mock
nosejob replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
The difference was the dropped passes. We should have won by 2 scores. -
So we differ. He's not or never will be at any time, a starting quality safety in the NFL....so there
-
Maybe he becomes what Dane Jackson was to the DB room. I hope so, but I don't feel good with him having to start. Edit" if you're talking about Lewis
-
5'9" what....180?...from UB...would you be talking about him in this draft? He's a borderline P.S. special teamer. Wait, I already explained that once.
-
Lewis is to Safety what Matakevich is to LB. He's the last version of McD's Tolbert on this team.

OBL today and Dl discussion.... This is my opinion but if the Bills stand pat.... No. 28 Sweat = Ted Williams and is the center of our Dline for years to come. Not to mention the enormous price DTs are commanding now, let alone 4 yrs. from now. No. 60 Maason Smith = Calais Campbell....no need to spend money on a Shaq type, he gonna be good. Just needs ....well the Bills. No. 128 Jermaine Burton = Eric Moulds? No. 133 Dez Walker = James Lofton? I don't mean to sound like a 1990 nostalgia, get off my lawn guy, but if it were down to our 1st 4 picks, I think this would work. -
They need to crap or get off the pot. Print some money and pay in signing bonuses but for Pete's sake do something. Glad they signed Rapp. Lewis is just a special teamer and break glass Safety. Hamlin, who knows. We need to sign 2 like today.

I believe there are 5 teams with two 2nds and 4 or more with two 3rds. ( Next years 1st could get us one of each.) This is the year for Beane to not only stock the cupboard, but get hopefully 5 or more starting quality players. -

I kinda hope they do. Let them use some resources and make the decision to move back easier, grab a 3rd rounder and still get a quality WR. -

Zuerlein had us trading to 26 with TB for a 4th and if he has the ability to be T.J. Watt then, no argument from me. However, if let's say Chop or Darius Robinson is sitting there, I'm looking to trade back with AZ. and pick up pick 71. Then, I'm all for trading next year's 1st to say GB for 41 and 88, which would give us... rd.2 35,41, 60 rd.3 71, 88 rd.4 128, 133 rd 5 3 picks rd.6 3 picks Beane could really make hay and he absolutely has to. We cannot sit on our thumbs with nothing from 60 to 128
