1/15/2023 Wildcard Weekend - Dolphins @ Bills - Post Game Thread
nosejob replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this is the biggest myth ever or at the very least a cover for a stubborn old D.C. I'd prefer upping the blitz% vs. getting no rush with just the front four and him having time to tie his shoes before throwing the ball. No Jordan Phillips sure as hell doesn't help. I was encouraged seeing some press man at the line yesterday. Hope to see more of that. knock off their timing. -

The Bengals will blitz like crazy and we could see another 7 sacks and possibly a fumble /int...or 2 and we will only rush 4 and get picked apart. Letting Skyler Thompson put up 31 doesn't give me much hope facing Burrow. Seems like every time we blitz we have success. Sure would be nice to see it called on 3rd and longs, or a hell of a lot more than it is. -
We are going nowhere with this Defensive coaching!

Stubbornly rushing fo is why we're getting what we get. -
Letting a 7th rd. rookie punk us with ....OMG! 49 yrs. as a fan and we got DC that refuses to punish a QB is BS. !!!!!!!! and this is on Mcd!!!!!! If we win this game it will be miracle and until we get a New DC we ain't going nowhere.

Thank you for your service. I'm quite a bit older. Early 80's for me.

I'm sorry for going off topic, but does EOD stand for what I think it does? just reminds me of my USAF days.

So sorry. May God give you peace and Bless your family!🤍

I know this isn't the right thread but Jordan Phillips questionable? We may in fact have to draft that spot high. I mean he's been the most unreliable while being the biggest hope we had at that spot. It's really bumming me out. He won't be here next year....and that sucks, but it just ain't working out.

Jags beat Bolts and go to upset K.C. Ravens beat Cincy then come to Buffalo. Bills host Jags for AFCCG. IS that possible? ....assuming we beat Miami...or is there at least a scenario where Cincy has to come here? I'm really starting to dig on the Jags. They can beat anyone in this turney except the Bills.

I would think it would do Lamar good to ball out? If he were our QB and didn't give it a go, I would want he and his "manager" to be on the first bus out. I don't know if you could get anything in a sign/tag and trade scenario. I kinda doubt it since the Browns have a QB.

I'm really starting to hate the chiefs....they must be beat....badly

I get it. I just feel weird that it's so easy to move on from 30 plus people dying Christmas weekend, but a freak accident during a football game causes PTSD to the masses. The media (especially locally) are still combing this over nonstop. Is there any GOFUNDME or out pouring of support for the tragedy of death from the storm? Nope, it's old news now.

I disagree 100% Yes, it was a horrible thing and yes things have come a long way since Kevin Everett, but to deprive dozens or hundreds of players and staff the income they provide for their families as well as freeze their careers in their tracks is the wrong thing to do. The best thing to do is to move on and move forward as compassionately as possible. The fact that apparently the fan base now has PTSD cannot be allowed to wallow in stagnation and disrupt lives in perpetuity. I hate to sound cold and I'm hoping Damar has a full recovery and prospers, but if fans are messed up and people are talking about throwing in the towel of others livelihoods, that's weak. The rest of the NFL is not going to just stop and does anyone really think Damar and his teamates would or should just give up?

McCarthy is a uniparty RINO. He has done nothing the last 2 yrs. Never spoke out against the Jan.6 committee holding political prisoners for 2 yrs. Has never said a word about the raid on Trump and former cabinet members, let alone private citizens who happen to be conservatives. Never speaks out against any of the asinine spending of the Dems or the deliberate invasion of our borders. The list goes on. He takes dirty money and is nothing more than McConnell Jr.

I'm guessing plenty of 4 wide....Diggs/Davis/combo of Bease/ Shakir/Knox and Cook out of the backfield. Josh needs to start taking those checkdowns /screens, move the chains and take those deep shots against that Cincy secondary. Time for Diggs to get AFC player of the week. On defense I think they should sprinkle in some 4-3 and not be afraid to blitz. I know Burrow this and Burrow that against the blitz, Bla,bla, bla. Make him throw those 50/50 balls in a hurry and see what we can do. Give him the Mike White treatment. Take the 15, I don't care.

The Phins; from 8-3 to 8-8. An epic collapse
nosejob replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Tua plays against the Jets, he will get beat up again and the whole off season convo will be what the Fins will do. I predict Brady will go back to the Pats next year to play and take over the HC/GM role after. -

2022 NFL Week 17 (January 1, 2023) GDT Broncos @ Chiefs
nosejob replied to muppy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I predicted earlier in this thread...Broncos 27-24. I'm Bummed, but we win tomorrow, and it's all moot. I do believe K.C. will lose before we see them again. -
Would you consider the Boogie Basham pick to be a disappointment?

Asking for a friend....If one gets a warning, how does one know where, and what post he posted may have offended?.....considering one may have posted in several threads. -
Buffalo News analysis of Tremaine Edmunds this season
nosejob replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
He makes plenty of splash plays. He splashes into the pile right after the tackle is made..... -
The Broncos will beat the Chiefs 27-24

I haven't done a ton of research but like the kid from Maryland, who we may be able to get in rd.2. Maybe the NYG will make it a draft priority and we can get Hodgins back and forget how stupid it was to give him up.

I keep hearing this and while it would have been a good pick, I'd like to ask how long ago was Morse signed? edit: nevermind, got off my arse and looked it up. 2019 60 mil. and Creed was drafted 2 years later. Who here was clamoring for the Bills to sign Morse's replacement at this point?...let alone with a high pick. And saying we could stick him at guard until whenever would have also been a waste of a high round pick. I'd rather wait til the end of the season until looking at this as a whole. If Boogie makes a stop/sack in the SB.....
