  1. I would love this draft.
  2. I don't do them but appreciate those who do. While I realize no one on the planet can guess what Beane wiil do, it is fun to research player profiles. I just pray that one time we use a future pick to at least get us a 3rd. I am not a fan of trading back to do it.
  3. Well, I can't argue. Look at Franklin last year and where he went.
  4. They won't get us a 3rd and it would be nuts for one pick. Those picks are perfect for finding gems and building for the future. Best pick last year will end up being Solomon. We need to hit this year. DT / EDGE /CB /Safety /WR 5 picks we can put on the 53. I believe it can be done.
  5. Yep Trade with Seattle. 2026 1st. They get 2026 1st / no. 62 and 132. Bills go from 62 to 52 and pick up 82 or 92. Seahawks still have 50/62 and 1 3rd as well as 2 1sts for 2026 after a year of Darnold without Kevin O'Connell....ok Jefferson and Addison. Win / Win
  6. We need to hit on those 1st 4 picks...hopefully 5. We can't throw 2 4s and 2 5s at the no 3rd round problem. It just doesn't make sense. Have some nads and take that 2026 1st...pick 31/32 and make hay now. I've said this in other threads, but there's teams with 2 2nds and 2 3rds. With that trade we can move up in 2 and gain a 3. (Throw in 132 or 170 whatever). Pick 30 / 2 2nds / mid 3rd and 109 all can, and need to be hits.
  7. Well Beane will trade down again because....no one will be left at 30 that he can't get at 40?😉
  8. IMO we need a one trick Pony. Go deep and take a CB and Safety with ya. We have all the other skill sets but that.
  9. I like that he's a plucker. ala George Pickens
  10. Grant/ Harmon Princely Porter , then pray Thornton lasts til 109.
  11. I would target Seattle for a trade. They have 50/52 82/92 Send them 2026 1st 62 and 132 for picks 52 and 82. That moves us 10 spots up in the 2nd and gives us a mid round 3rd. 5 picks in the 1st 109 and 3 5ths to work with. It's a win/win. Seattle still has two 2nds and still has a 3rd not to mention 2 1sts next year in case they need to look at future QB or build around Darnold... who I don't think is gonna look the same as in Minny.
  12. And send him to the CFL He's still going to NY. This don;t mean anything....and if Carter limps a little at his pro day, Beane swoops in at around 10
  13. I love OBL, it's my weekday bread and butter...and is even better following Marty Biron. Anywho, they do go off the rails a bit with the cheerleading. Some times they get set straight by callers tho. Like around 2:35 today about the Dline. Great job to the guy that sounded like a get off my lawn guy ....like me. Draft Dline Dline Dline
  14. Yeah, when they started this gig,...I mean when I migrated here, they sure tightened things up. Hell, I'm on my 3rd username.....
  15. Just listening and OMG. They say ya never draft specifically for need. Oh yeah? How far back do ya wanna go? Just a little here...needed a cb= Elam Wanna run 12, need a TE...Kincaid. You can go back to Ed Oliver and it's always need. It's a fact of NFL life. That being said, we need Dline. Don't be stupid. Get the best you can IN ROUND 1.
  16. I think Benford and Cook are the kind of signings that happen over the summer. There's always one or 2 of those?
  17. IMO Beane has to try to create at least 1 3rd rd. pick, WITHOUT moving back. There are teams with 2 picks in rds. 2 and 3. 2026 picks be damned! Use 1 or 2 and have a good draft. Last year was the dry run on how to do as little as possible. Our best pick was Solomon in the 5th. I don't ever again wanna hear about the virtue of stockpiling future picks. Newsflash! Our draft position(s) suck. We have the chance to get impact players in each round. We can't watch the 3rd go by again. Trading back from 62 would do nothing and giving up both 4ths to get to 99ish would be equally stupid. I'm am all in on Darien Porter and not having to use a 1st pick. Gives us day 1 starter. A ball hawking Benford at the very least.
  18. IDK where he has Harmon, but I think I'm liking him a bit more than Grant.
  19. That's once. I thought another poster was comparing him to Quentin Johnston?
  20. You should apologize for comparing Johnston to Palmer.....or anybody really.
  21. Yeah, I guess my point is that Grant and Harmon could be gone.
  22. No way to make up anything worse than this.
  23. Give me 30 Grant 56 Princely 62 Porter.... who I really want. He's gonna be a day 1 starter. 6'2-3? 200 4.3 hangs with the bigger receivers, fine in run support and I think he'll turn into quite the ballhawk, a plucker.
  24. We could very well be having to look at Collins or maybe a Sanders at 30.
