  1. Starting to hear this more everyday.
  2. I really hope we get him, but guess his home is Utah, so my money is on SF.
  3. The difference was the dropped passes. We should have won by 2 scores.
  4. So we differ. He's not or never will be at any time, a starting quality safety in the NFL....so there
  5. Well, I'd rather take my chances than pay Settle that. Gabe Hall is probably better.
  6. Maybe he becomes what Dane Jackson was to the DB room. I hope so, but I don't feel good with him having to start. Edit" if you're talking about Lewis
  7. 5'9" what....180?...from UB...would you be talking about him in this draft? He's a borderline P.S. special teamer. Wait, I already explained that once.
  8. Lewis is to Safety what Matakevich is to LB. He's the last version of McD's Tolbert on this team.
  9. OBL today and Dl discussion.... This is my opinion but if the Bills stand pat.... No. 28 Sweat = Ted Williams and is the center of our Dline for years to come. Not to mention the enormous price DTs are commanding now, let alone 4 yrs. from now. No. 60 Maason Smith = Calais Campbell....no need to spend money on a Shaq type, he gonna be good. Just needs ....well the Bills. No. 128 Jermaine Burton = Eric Moulds? No. 133 Dez Walker = James Lofton? I don't mean to sound like a 1990 nostalgia, get off my lawn guy, but if it were down to our 1st 4 picks, I think this would work.
  10. They need to crap or get off the pot. Print some money and pay in signing bonuses but for Pete's sake do something. Glad they signed Rapp. Lewis is just a special teamer and break glass Safety. Hamlin, who knows. We need to sign 2 like today.
  11. I believe there are 5 teams with two 2nds and 4 or more with two 3rds. ( Next years 1st could get us one of each.) This is the year for Beane to not only stock the cupboard, but get hopefully 5 or more starting quality players.
  12. I kinda hope they do. Let them use some resources and make the decision to move back easier, grab a 3rd rounder and still get a quality WR.
  13. Zuerlein had us trading to 26 with TB for a 4th and if he has the ability to be T.J. Watt then, no argument from me. However, if let's say Chop or Darius Robinson is sitting there, I'm looking to trade back with AZ. and pick up pick 71. Then, I'm all for trading next year's 1st to say GB for 41 and 88, which would give us... rd.2 35,41, 60 rd.3 71, 88 rd.4 128, 133 rd 5 3 picks rd.6 3 picks Beane could really make hay and he absolutely has to. We cannot sit on our thumbs with nothing from 60 to 128
  14. Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Zuerlein has us giving a 4th to go up 2 spots for Latu. NFL.com pro comparison: TJ Watt
  15. NFL.com Maason Smith's pro comparison is Calais Campbell. I hope we get him somehow.
  16. Your best one yet IMO.
  17. I'm looking forward to the AFCN and the AFCS both cannibalizing this year.
  18. I don't think we'll have a shot at Thomas...too far, too much. I can also see K.C. jumping us big for Mitchell. In that case, I would hope BB would consider..... Trade 28 35/71 for Legette. If Chop or D.R. fall to 28 AZ. may wanna do that deal. Trade next years 1st to GB for 41/88. 41 T'vondre Sweat. Pick 60 Devontez Walker Pick 71 Jonah Ellis EDGE Pick 88 Cole Bishop S After that IDK Would like Maason Smith somewhere. Edit: Just ran across Syracuse.com mock draft for the Bills and found it interesting.
  19. In terms of numbers, they can only dress 53 so the 1st 5 picks at least gotta hit, doubt they'll take more than 8. There's no sense of loading up on Oline(minus maybe C), TE, RB,LB etc. just to see them poached off the P.S. Start from the 7th rd. and start pushing everything up.
  20. I gotta say, this is maybe the best all around IMO so far. Good job! Edit: I would change 144 to Javon Solomon Edge Troy
  21. I don't know. A guy who admittedly (conserves his energy) when he knows the ball ain't coming to him....and not noted for "making himself available to the QB on busted plays, does not give me the process feeling. On the other hand Legette who has faced a lot of trials and adversity, worked his butt off to get to this point, screams process and character. The kind of guy who could look like an Eric Moulds...ish....and it's possible to maybe trade down a little, pick up a 3rd.
  22. I like Shaq but wouldn't consider til post draft. If we can get our hands on Maason Smith from LSU 6'6" 315 who can play outside or in, we won't need to pay Shaq. We can list Smith as DT and keep a spot open for DE.
  23. Don't be surprised with CB Quinyon Mithchell at 28.
  24. Neither do I. The only one I would bring back is J.P. I think we should fill out the Dline in the draft. (Sweat, Smith and Solomon)etc. As far as Safety, I think they'll bring in Jordan Fuller to pair with Rapp and draft 2.
  25. This is why I'd trade next years 1st to the packers for say 41 and 88. I'd throw back their 5th if need be. We need to manufacture another 2nd rd.pick and a 3rd as well while keeping our own spots. The point being there's a few teams with more than one pick in the 2nd and 3rd. Be it next years 1st or a trade back, it's ball out time for BB. I would stand pat. I can't see trading up. It's just too much. We should be able to get Legette or Ladd. Maybe Byron Murphy makes it here.
