  1. Yeah, I’m thinking 5-7 and just take a shot. I recall years ago Green Bay would take one every few years (if memory serves) and I always thought that made a ton of sense and that if I were a GM I would do the same based on the value of the position. If you need them you got them. If you don’t you can try and trade them for a higher pick in a few years.
  2. The Bills are really good team built to contend year in and year out. (Congrats and thank you, McBeane.) That said, I hate the fact that if something bad happens, which I refuse to name, we would basically be out of Super Bowl contention with Mr. T at the helm. I’d love to see us draft someone in the mid to late rounds that had some special traits and/or tons of game experience that we could build a scheme for to try and at least give ourselves a chance. What do you think and who might fit the bill in this upcoming draft? If he fell far enough (who knows at this stage?) I’d take a crack at Dylan Gabriel from Oregon. Watching the Big 10 championship and I could see him excelling in the right scheme surrounded by the right people. What say you?
  3. I’m the one up in the air. No filters. Really… (Thank you for a lovely Saturday evening. I really needed this.)
  4. Let’s have a baby and name it Norwoods FOOThills… I think we may have more in common than you realize…
  5. You think a lot about geological features?
  6. Hard to envision Bill Belichick on a college sideline, but who knows?
  7. How the hell did I miss this until right now?! Welcome back!
  8. Davis has been great. I did prefer Allen over him during the draft, and one thing to note: there is a sizable age difference between the two, so it’s a hard comparison to make. I want to see what Allen is once he matures.
  9. At this point, I don’t care if it’s the lowest NFC seed and half of the opposing team misses the game with food poisoning: I just want one Lombardi!
  10. Noticed that too. Not aging well.
  11. Vrabel doesn’t “hate” recruiting. He has said on the record that he enjoys building relationships with recruits and their families. I don’t know if he has ever publicly commented on the NIL. That said, I doubt Ohio State fires Day. He keeps the money flowing with good recruiting and “getting close” every year.
  12. Blah… Hopefully won’t matter
  13. 14-13 The “Bass differential” Bravo Beane
  14. Bruce Smith verses Anthony Munoz
  15. Let it be his last act as a Bill! Out on a high note! Hahaha
  16. BassTard??? BassHole???? Please God, no! Lol
  17. I don’t like booze. I prefer weed. 😂
  18. They do seem to act odd as far as NFL coaches go. I live in Miami. Lotta people on legal weed these days. Doing it at work and everything. Wouldn’t be shocked. Just sayin…
  19. The logic is strong with you, my friend. Respect…
  20. I’ll jump in. I don’t recall being down on Coleman, per se, but rather frustrated that we didn’t take Worthy to pair his A+ speed with Allen’s A+ arm strength. I would still love to see a true top flight deep threat on the team, but I’m very happy with Coleman’s progress.
  21. Man, I saw the headline of this thread and my subconscious rearranged the words to say Bass Cut Already. Got excited for a second. Such is life…😂
  22. I hear you. Depends on if you think he is a difference maker or not. I think he is a decently talented player but I don’t see his skill set as vastly different or dramatically better than what we already have. I don’t know what would get it done, but I wouldn’t hate this. I was in the “draft Worthy” camp this offseason for reasons I’ve explained at length in other posts. The year Williams was coming out I was very hopeful we would have a chance to draft him to fully take advantage of Allen’s arm strength by getting him some world-class speed in a player who was also productive at a big university. Still waiting…
  23. The biggest issues holding back this team to me are: 1. Coaching - ie. game management & being out schemed by top-tier coaches 2. On-field Talent - we don’t have enough players with special traits that create matchup problems 3. Lack of a “killer instinct” in the organization Tee Higgins doesn’t touch those problems
