Let’s see how he tests, pass his medical, but I’d probably take him in the second. It is true that his career has been solid if not a bit lackluster, but some switch has flipped and he has made some very good linemen look silly in these playoffs. He has the attitude and work ethic. If his medicals are clean and he tests well, the only other thing to figure out is if his playoff performance is/was a flash in the pan or if he has raised his game to a new and sustainable level.

I do. I like thinking about team building for the long term and what I would do if I were GM. Right now we aren’t winning anything without Allen. That’s my point. But multiple teams have won Super Bowls with solid backups (Giants and Eagles come to mind) and I’d like the Bills to be on that list should the worst happen.
