  1. So you're telling me there's a chance! LOL
  2. The Chiefs are going to come back more focused than ever.
  3. One thing I'll say is that IF the Bills decide to bring in CMC opposing defenses would have zero FN idea if we were running or passing. Can you imagine Diggs, Davis, Shikir, Knox and McCaffery on the field? They can be your 5 wides or you could put CMC in the backfield and have Knox block. Can you imagine getting a team in base personnel and then using these guys five-wide in hurry-up? Or getting them in dime and lining up and running it over and over?
  4. Is that why Giselle is leaving him? He drank the kids?

  6. I was tuned in for each one of those Super Bowl losses. To me, Scott Norwood's foot is like our unlucky rabbit's foot that started 30 years of misery being a Bills fan. My perspective nowadays on football is that the game simply reveals the truth and that each team, most of the time, simply gets exactly what they deserve. Ignoring the factors of unavoidable injuries and bad refereeing, I believe the game is simply the revelation of a team's talent, smarts, tenacity, and preparation. If the Bills get to the Super Bowl again and lose it's because they didn't deserve to win it, unless the game is decided by shady refereeing or a freak injury. If we get there I would like for it to be against the best team or best players that we can possibly play against. The victory would be all the more sweet for it. And if we truly deserve it that Lombardi trophy will be ours no matter what.
  7. The entire two weeks of lead-up would be bliss imagining the possibility of beating Tom Brady. Plus all the hoopla of "is this his last game" would take the focus off of us. Plus Josh could do what Mahomes could not: beat Tom Brady in a Super Bowl. Gimme the Bucs.
  8. I voted 'neither'. I don't think OBJ will be well enough to contribute much this year (could be wrong). I don't think McCaffrey will be worth the trade cost as a one year rental or that the Bills will want to keep his big salary on the roster. From a purely football perspective I guess I would take McCaffrey. But realistically, I would probably pass on both this year.
  9. The media is suffering from premature coronation.
  10. All respect to you guys. I want you in Buffalo for the AFC Championship. I can't wait to have Tre White back in the mix and see what our D can do then.
  11. Would I love to have his skill set on the roster and run the experiment of seeing how he does with our coaching, scheme, and players? Absolutely. Do i have confidence that it would work out well enough to be worth the risk and the cost? Nope I would have rather taken a flier on George Pickens just like the Steelers did, and who is apparently making Claypool expendable. So I'd pass... And not to him... (Couldn't help myself!)
  12. I love the push by Gabe Davis. So much more power. A great wrinkle. A twist I'd like to see: use an O Linemen in a TE position off of the line, motion him, and have him give Josh the shove. And hell, have Singletary push the O Lineman! Can you image the concentrated force?
  13. Right. Hard to explain. If we take top seed in the playoffs having to face the Chargers then the Chiefs would be one hell of a task.
  14. Amen. He's growing. Can't ask for more than that. I respect the hell out of him.
  15. Bill and Chiefs out way ahead. I respect the Jets, but 1) I want to see how they play us twice, and 2) I want to see what they do over the course of the season. For me the clear third team is the Chargers based on their talent.
  16. Yeah, I reserve the right to change my mind, and I will certainly trust Beane with whatever he wants to do. But I would not give up a first or second round pick for Christian McCaffrey. Why? 1) we need top end linemen on rookie deals for long term success and 2) in the same way that a draft pick might not work out, McCaffrey's injuries might take him out too.
  17. This discussion probably deserves its own thread, but now that the D Line is stacked, its time to draft some high-end O Line talent. I understand building the D Line first. Our depth there allows us to only rush 4 and opens our defensive playbook. It's been a great strategy. But boy, what will we look like with a few more dominant O linemen???
  18. I'm being repetitive, and I mean McKenzie no disrespect, but get that liability off the field. Our goals are more important than one player. Khalil Shakir's talent profile is FAR better than McKenzie's and Shakir has yet to make even one of the stupid mistakes we've seen outta Lil Dirty. Make the FN change already!
  19. I think this is the answer. When I played football (Edge rusher) we did a summer scrimmage against a team we would play later that year. The TE killed us in the scrimmage. When we played them in the season instead of rushing the passer I mirrored the TE and never let him get off of the line of scrimmage (they never flexed him out). We lost the game 13-6 but we didn't get our asses kicked like we did in the scrimmage. The downside here is that the person you dedicate to this strategy won't factor as much in the pass rush. But if Mahomes can't get the ball to Kelce maybe that's the greater good.
  20. Yes, he refused to abide by the decision and McDaniels just smiled... Hmmm...
