  1. Forget Webb. Bring in Chris Streveler just to mess with Jets fans.
  2. I would assume that a phone call where he was tricked into answering questions by detectives on the other line with the accuser, in a civil case, would be nowhere near admissible even if it did happen. I’d venture to guess that could even be illegal without the right channels having been followed entering a questioning session by the potential accused. In no way should judgement be handed down based merely on accusations though. Lives are ruined that way. Let it play out.
  3. Not entirely sure what the overall gist of the main post was but I gathered it was about the no huddle. 1) I’d absolutely love to see some version of the no huddle broken out at playoff time. I think it’s unique to the Bills, causes a lot of difficulty for defenses not prepared, and this particular roster would do it justice. 2) I’m psyched about Dorsey, because while many viewed Daboll like some Jedi master, I though he had a lot of weaknesses to his play calling. My biggest pet peeve was our abysmal first down play calling. I felt like under Daboll we only had downs 2-4 available because we got nothing done on first down most of the time. Looking forward to new blood and I think it could be better overall for our Bills.
  4. Smart move. Any pics in 5th round or lower are extremely valuable picks. Let’s remember that Khalil Shakir was our 5 this year. I love loading up on pics and grabbing some value instead of just making cuts.
  5. You gotta imagine it rubs Trubisky’s grundle the wrong way that he’s not the back up to Josh Allen but rather backup to Roethlistberger’s potential ***** rookie successor. Would love to have him back as the 2nd guy.
  6. Croxley’s in Franklin Square NY. Been making consistently excellent Buffalo wings for 30+ years now.
  7. Well now we have plenty of depth at corner which was a weakness before the draft. Overall happy with the draft filling big needs.
  8. All jokes aside, a good punter can be quite valuable for a team. We saw what a bad punter means to a team having Haack. While we don’t want to punt, nice to cannon that ball downfield. Sneaky good pickup. Not only that, he’s a late round pick that absolutely be a starter and make the roster. Good value here.
  9. Gotta like Elam. Not only did the Bills fill their biggest need but seemingly got better at the position with an upgrade from last year. Good move. Next rounds will be interesting.
  10. CB is accounted for. It’s Breece time! 😉
  11. Elam at 6’2” had the fastest 40-time of the upper level crop of CB’s as well as with vertical and shuttle. He’s got the measurables and will be able to keep up with the leagues beastly receivers. The staff knows a lot more about the defensive backfield than we do. Seems like a good choice and our biggest need is filled.
  12. Nobody can criticize the pick. The biggest need has been filled. Now open season to go after our other big needs. I’d love to land Breece with the second rounder but we will see.
  13. Lots of good picks left for us. I can see Lloyd if he’s not already picked.
  14. Fwiw, I think sending some of those guys out for high picks next year and/or immediate need would be smart money. We don’t need Epenesa and could get good value right now. Same goes for most. Edmunds is the biggest trade bait but the truth is, I still feel he has huge upside somewhere and his freakish length and speed coupled with his young Age an ability to cover quick TE’s makes it difficult for me to part. I’d rather trade all of Poyer, Epenesa and Moss easily to make room to keep a very young and talented edmunds.
  15. Agree with this totally. No it’s not guaranteed your Rb will be a game breaker but it super cost-effective and you get that RB’s beat years. Get arguably the best player at their position in the draft. Then grab a CB. Then OL followed by TE, LB etc. The kid would be a huge upgrade and give us an instant weapon. He has a high ceiling, is already a proven workhorse who can play every down, is big and has breakaway speed. I’d have no problem with him as a late first round pick. Would make us all that much more dangerous. I won’t be upset if we don’t grab him and go with a different positional choice, but I’m in the camp that’s more than fine with this move. I’m waiting to see a threat in our backfield to give us more options.
  16. A lot of the ineptitude was Daboll’s play calls on first down. We ran stupid dive plays up the middle incessantly for no gain. We played a ton of games with basically 3 downs because first down was thrown away. This issue was a combo of poor early down coaching, lack of good blocking and middling running backs. I think the line is being addressed. Daboll is gone so no idea what Dorsey will do, but we need to be in better positions after first and second down. We also need a premier running back.
  17. It doesn’t have to be Jameson Williams but I do agree it’s time to feed the offensive beast. Which is why I’m good with focusing on offensive guys to bolster what We have. Get that RB we need, another young TE, a lineman and some sort of receiver with speed and upside.
  18. Not only that but Brown has also thrown 3 TD passes in his day. Definitely most versatile offensive player I can think of. He was a tank and can block too. i chose ray lewis because he was quick, big, could tackle, rush the passer and also cover. Plus could you imagine how 11 nasty ray lewis’ out there hawking all over?
  19. Or he’s within those top 20 players that they believe are the bonafide first rounders. We won’t know the grades until they draft tomorrow and what’s left on the board. I agree. Late first round might not be a reach and can be equivalent of a second rounder depending on strength at the top of that years draft. I think we will probably stay out but things will change rapidly tomorrow. Regardless of what happens, we should just all hope for a run on QB’s and defensive linemen early.
  20. Agree. In addition, “slow” in this draft class means over 4.4 considering 5 backs ran in the 4.3’s which is unprecedented.
  21. Hey, we have 2 of Derrick Henry’s blockers now. We just need a Derrick Henry… 😉 4.48 and not a perimeter runner doesn’t check the boxes for what we need. I like him otherwise but maybe not for us.
  22. Agree here. I like him too. All depends on how our front office grades out the backs. I think we’d all love to not use the first round pick on a back unless it’s THE back. I don’t know what the staff thinks at this point. Will be fun day tomorrow for sure.
  23. This right here is what I was going to post as well. Allen is currently rushing over 700 yards per season. Yea there are some run plays for Allen, but much of it is because taking off and running IS his check down. A good RB who can do it all would augment our offense in a lot of ways. It’s more of a necessity than a want right now. In addition I wasn’t overly pleased with the way Daboll approached our running game. Just because we can pass every down doesn’t mean we should. A more balanced attack would certainly be prudent and I think is necessary in McDermott’s eyes.
  24. im not in love with edwards-Hellaire. I don’t think he’s all that comparable to some in this draft though and was taken pretty high for a 5’7” back that ran a near 4.5 40 time.
