  1. He is on a pretty sick run. This year he's scored 17 goals in 14 games for Real Madrid in La Liga. 9 goals in 5 Champions League games. 10 goals in 9 games for the Portugal national team. And this is the girl he's nailing currently: http://www.freefever...y-wallpaper.jpg She's almost as pretty as he is.
  2. That's some really interesting, creepy stuff. Good reading.
  3. Congrats, Beerball! You must be bursting with pride. I hope to have this experience with my little girl in a couple decades.
  4. On his high school football team, they called JBoyst the Handyman because he could play tight end and wide receiver. He really knew how to get up, use both hands to maintain control and he always "completed the process."
  5. It's true--there are some amazing people on this site. Westside, I hope and wish the best for you and your wife. It's clear how much you love your wife and your awesome attitude will help--I'm sure of it. Gugny, that's amazing, great news about your Aunt!
  6. New study reveals disturbing link between Buffalo Bills fanship and grave irreversible mental illness.
  7. Mark David Chapman was definitely crazy. He had some weird obsession with The Catcher in the Rye and apparently got it in his head that Lennon was one of the "phonies" that Holden Caulfield described, so he decided to kill him. He was also a huge Beatles fan and his obsessions just got all mixed up and turned dark with his extreme mental illness. Incredibly sad and senseless. Another example of how a broken brain can be the most dangerous and terrifying thing.
  8. Loved Lennon. I was only 10 when he died, but I had a sense of how huge it was. I came to love his music more as I got older. It still feels kind of fresh and painful to think about how senselessly and suddently he was taken out.
  9. Zuzu really blew this one. Looks like Christmas is cancelled this year.

  11. 2010 wasn't so terrible. They were drawn with England, Slovenia, Algeria. They were able to advance and they lost to Ghana in the first knockout round. In 2006, they were in what most people considered the group of death, with Italy, Czech Rep., Ghana. They did not make it out of the group. They needed to beat Ghana in the last group game, but couldn't.
  12. Read a little more about the draw. Man, it's gonna be tough. This is from the Soccer By Ives site: I don't know why FIFA seems to hate us so much, but it will definitely make for maximum drama. I'm so excited for this. I don't know how I"m gonna wait til summer.
  13. Yeah, the group of death, without question. But apart from that, it's a really really interesting draw for the USA. In 2002, USA had a huge 3-2 upset win over Portugal which helped them get out of the group. Then they won their first knockout game and faced Germany in the round of 8. Germany got away with a pretty bad hand ball on the goal line late to stop the USA from tying the game and won 1-0. And there’s also the Germany Klinsmann connection which is huge. Of course Ghana sent us home in 2006 and 2010. Germany is currently #2 in the FIFA rankings and Portugal is #5. I think that’s generous for Portugal. USA will have to upset one of these powerhouses and take care of Ghana too in order to get out of the group. Won’t be easy. I can’t wait.
  14. Thanks for posting. I didn't know these were out today. Oh, no! !@#$ing Ghana again!!!
  15. I love records. I bought a fancy new turntable earlier this year. Somehow I missed Record Store day this year.
  16. Jack is legendary among the ladies for his magnificent member. He needs to spend only a few moments with a woman before she yells out, “what a dick!”
  17. Mead has never, not even once, blown a game by fumbling in the fourth quarter. Clutch! EDIT: D'oh! I was a little late on that one. Gugny is an excellent disco roller skater. I'm talking world class.
  18. I thought I explained this already. She is not a witch. She's a magical mermaid princess. She uses her superpowers only for good. However, her regular powers are pretty impressive too and she'll use those for whatever she feels like, including running a fool over with her tricycle.
