  1. Scrapper Blackwell - "Life of a Millionaire" Skip James - "Devil Got My Woman" (and not just because it's featured in the movie Ghost World)
  2. Does she have kids? If the answer is no, then go for it. I'd just want to get a little better feel for what her situation is though. Is it simply a marriage that isn't working and she is, in good faith, moving on? If it were me, I'd want to get to know her enough to know that she is a trustworthy person. If that checks, I say go for it.
  3. No ****ing way! Somebody did not actually say that!
  4. Tom thinks Larry the Cable Guy is a hoot.
  5. Buffalo Joe's avatar is not meant to be ironic.
  6. Cute. I'm a fan of the brunette, non-emaciated, voluptuous type.
  7. Yes, and "vaguely hominid" works well too. "Wandering aimlessly in the wilderness" applies better to the Bills' wide receivers, I think.

  11. I predict I will continue to get burned like this pretty much every time I post anything.
  12. I predict continued pain, confusion, deterioration, isolation, miscommunication and regret. But other than that, I think it will be a pretty good year.
  13. This is great news. Lots of buzz around this kid. Looking forward to his first USMNT call up.
  14. Yeah, you're right. I should have said 30 good things.

  16. Some more than others. I'm talking about songs with a particularly well-told, coherent narrative. Sheesh.
  17. Hackett uses logic exactly like this when deciding which play to call next.
  18. I think we all know that Tom's #1 choice is "Friday" by Rebecca Black, but I'm curious to hear from some non-geniuses as well. Some of my favorites: “The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carol” – Bob Dylan “The Mercy Seat” – Nick Cave “Famous Blue Raincoat” – Leonard Cohen and a hokey choice, but I still like it... “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree” – Tony Orlando & Dawn
