  1. They gotta develop some kind of power bar made with roids & breast milk. Great business opportunity here. And delicious? Oh boy.
  2. I don't want to judge because people are certainly free to pursue happiness however they want as long as it doesn't harm others. I just want to point out that these two individuals are creepy perverted weirdo dipschitts who cannot be trusted.
  3. Great game, made Costa Rica look silly. The USA will advance to the quarterfinals with a win or draw against Paraguay (Saturday at 7pm ET on FS1). If we lose, we're out. Most likely, we will finish second in our group. The only way we win the group is by beating Paraguay PLUS Costa Rica beats Colombia. If we do in fact finish second in the group, we will meet the winner of Group B, probably Brazil, possibly Peru.
  4. In the building where I work, I'd say that about 85% of the women are obese. About 30-40% of the men are obese.
  5. I believe this is the same methodology Poojer applies in the "Would Ya" threads.
  6. USA vs. Costa Rica tonight (6/7) at 8pm ET, on FS1 Pretty close to a must win for the USA to make it out of the group. I suspect that the USA will be the better team in this game, but they will have to be opportunistic and finish their chances in order to get the needed three points. I'm reading many fans saying we should not play Dempsey. But Dempsey will play and I think he will score. I'd like to see Nabge start next to (or just in front of) Bradley in the middle. Keep the same back four. Let Wood and Dempsey attack, get Pulisic in there in the second half and it should be a good result. I think it will be a fun game to watch.
  7. Colombia 2, USA 0 Not great, but I think the result was a little unfortunate. Bad game from Bradley & Jones. Wood was never involved enough. I thought Yedlin was good and Zardes played very well in the first half. Brooks also was good for the most part. Dempsey had his good moments, but missed by inches a couple times. Pulisic and Nagbe looked positive, but it was too little too late. Bad result in game one, but they can still beat both Costa Rica and Paraguay. It's frustrating, but not as bad as the score might indicate. If they keep their cool, they can still get out of the group.
  8. When my daughter was born, I got a small tattoo of a bunny on the inside of my wrist. My wife is Korean and born in the year of the rabbit. My daughter is also year of the rabbit. I got it in purple because I was guessing that would be a color my daughter would like. Strange luck: bunnies are my daughter's favorite animal and purple is her favorite color.
  9. Yeah, Wood has been very good. I may be in the minority, but I don't mind it that Jozy is out.
  10. Yes and yes. Both Nagbe and Pulisic have looked great in limited time lately. I'm thinking that Klinsmann will use both as subs in tomorrow's game. If it were me, I'd start them both, but I think the strategy will be defense first and then try to create chances late when the game opens up.
  11. I hope all you soccer haters get that song stuck in your head for days. And instead of the actual lyrics, I hope that in your head you hear, "...at the Cuga...Cugalabanza!" That is my curse on you.
  12. Great talk, everybody. I was gonna ask what people thought about possibly starting Nagbe in the midfield with Bradley, but I see we probably won't get to that.
  13. Dammit, I hate when I make mistakes that make me look stupid, because I'm trying to hide the fact that I'm stupid.
  14. USA starts off Friday against a very strong Columbia team (9:30 pm on FS1). Costa Rica and Paraguay also in the same group. This tournament will be a great test for the USA. Anyone else watching?
  15. "Study" says this? As in, like, generally speaking, anyone who thinks about this carefully will know that Audi drivers are the most obnoxious? Sounds right to me.
  16. Looks like Costanza has gone too long since his last orgasm

  18. These are very good selections. I'm glad I'm not in there because I don't feel like wearing a tie.
  19. At the risk of coming off like an out of touch old guy ranting about how things used to be... Is the number of loonies, nutcakes, crackpots and shitferbrains screwball wackos kind of growing? It is a little, right? Is it just me?
  20. Anyway, isn't it misleading to call it a "head transplant?" It's really an "everything except the head" transplant.
  21. They wouldn't need to do all that messy spinal cord stuff if they just used Dr. Hfuhruhurr's patented cranial screw top procedure.
  22. Oh, you did it. Beerball doesn't mess around with these things. His research is painstaking and infallible. My only question is why did you pick such a cheesy alias for your golf crimes? "Richard Ponds?" That's pretty ridiculous. Shame on you.
