  1. Indeed... https://i.pinimg.com/originals/95/10/25/951025af59d3d1314033090e9c180437.jpg
  2. "Can be spun...?" Sure, I agree that in this day & age of nonsense politics dog **** can be spun into gold. But I'm not very interested in that. I'm interested in making sense.
  3. The *agenda* you see here is your own invention. It does not exist in the statement we’re talking about. Obama did not use the opportunity to criticize the current pres or administration. Nothing political was discussed or even implied. Exactly. That’s part of my point. It’s why I do not agree with what Tom said. Does that include someone who lives there and happens to be “ethnic-looking?” Do they have to vacate their home for the weekend? Is it ok if they just hide inside with the curtains drawn?
  4. You've really botched the lyrics to "What a Wonderful World" here.
  5. How do you not see that you are complaining about people painting in broad strokes while you're standing there with a dripping ROLLER in your hand? Nobody here has said all white people are evil or anything even close to that.
  6. You may find some research that indicates babies will tend to gravitate towards people that look more like mommy or bro or sis than someone who looks different. All else equal, that’s not surprising—and I’ve seen some studies showing that. Babies also tend to show favorable attention to images of women who are commonly thought of as attractive as opposed to unattractive ones. But I’m confident you will not find solid science to support the claim that hatred of those with a different skin color is innate. It’s safe to say that the Obama quote (from Mandela) in question, which you were quick to dispute, is reasonable and accurate. "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion..." It’s really not a controversial statement. And it’s not something intended to be divisive or ax-grinding or partisan. Quite the opposite.
  7. Can you share or point to some of this evidence? I'm not aware of it. My own experience is that babies & children are not inherently hateful of differences.
  8. I like the Trump madman approach. Keeps NK on their toes. I think our next step should be to blow up Guam ourselves. Then be like, who’s crazy now, Kim?
  9. Ok, carry on. Keep saving the world with your "-tard" suffix.
  10. Do you ever listen to yourself? Are you 4 years old?
  11. Ok, screw the cat. But Burn After Reading was a good movie.
  12. I'd burn the hat, save the kitten and use social media pressure to force the owners to make a public apology and a donation to the local no-kill animal shelter. But that's me, the bleeding heart leftist libflake snowtard. I should change my name to Cuck-alabanza.
  13. Dude, first of all, if you want to set kittens of fire, then I don't think I can trust your judgment. Secondly, setting kittens on fire, as a practical matter, is not as easy as you imagine. It is, however, a very good metaphor for your misdirected, impotent rage, which we've all seen way too many times around here. Good day to you, sir.
  14. This is the part where it gets kind of special in terms of full on whacked: "Melanin enables black skin to capture light and hold it in its memory mode which reveals that blackness converts light into knowledge. Melanin directly communicates with cosmic energy..."
  15. Fake news! That movie was great.
  16. This is a disturbing non-answer from Pegs. His compassion as a human being apparently does not extend much further than his personal wealth and ambitions. As we all know, it’s not just about concussions. The repetitive lower impact hits to the head over and over are likely just as dangerous. [***Disclaimer: Yes, yes, yes, I know all the science is not in on this issue and the sample sizes are still quite low. However, any sensible person at this point would have to admit that the anecdotal evidence as well as initial studies do point to something very significant and scary here...at least to the extent that further study is required. To say, "I don't want to talk about it" is crappy at best.] Pegs shows simultaneously his willful ignorance and lack of concern here.
  17. India pledges to sell only electric cars by 2030 https://www.google.com/amp/amp.weforum.org/agenda/2017/05/india-electric-car-sales-only-2030
  18. Haha! "Summer blend." Sounds like a very very kind way of saying they're laying it on too...thick.
  19. What does viscosity have to do with it? Boy, this is all getting too complicated for me.
  20. Thanks. And bipartisan support no less!
  21. I don’t know how to make it yet, but I know there’s a good joke to be made about republicans and brain surgery and the health care vote. Ah well, it’s fun to think about anyway.
  22. I hear you and I get your point. It just scares me because it seems like a badly written sit-com type of solution. I mean, there’s a reason you don’t let Gilligan fix the coconut radio. Sure, it would be great if the Skipper and the Professor could get on the same page and get something done, but as Deranged Rhino will point out, none of it matters as long as Mr. Howell is pulling all the strings behind the scenes anyway. (the mofo's probably selling blowdarts to the headhunters on the sly).
  23. No, I'm agreeing with you. But at the same time, it's worth mentioning that if we are treating Trump as a toddler, than there's a case to be for not having him sit at the grown up table when grown up things are being discussed.
