  1. Ok, I take it back. Most people are ok if you give them a chance.
  2. I love your avatar and text underneath
  3. Most people are crap. They start out as crap little kids and then they become crap adults. Crap is what they are made of and all they ever know. Everything they do is crap and crap is all they can ever aspire to be.
  4. Wow, I actually have my Saxophone Colossus cd in my car right now. I didn't think there was another single human being who cared. Happy Birthday Sonny!
  5. Happy Birthday!
  6. Happy Birthday! I'll see what I can do.
  7. [in my best John Madden voice...] I think the thing ya have to take away from the game last night is that, in the National Football League, ya have to go out there and just play the game a football. The thing ya wanna have is the type a guy where ya say, here's a football guy. Now, yer talkin' about the type a guy, he's just a football player. He's a guy he's just gonna go out there and play football, that's just what he does there. Now, when ya have that type a thing, yer gonna go out there and you're gonna see some football. That's the type a thing ya really like to see. That's the thing there.
  8. ...I witnessed a Bills victory on my own tv in my own home. I'm sure there are a lot of people like me--living away from WNY, don't have or can't get DirectTV. The Bills have had precious few prime time or national games in recent years. And what few they've had, they've lost. This year will be really bad for tv coverage outside of WNY. All 16 of the Bills games are at Sunday 1pm. Ripoff! I know the Bills are far from a premier team in the league right now, but considering how the NFL keeps expanding the number of featured games, you'd think they could throw us at least one. This year there are 37 prime time games that everyone gets (Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights). 74 team slots. Bills got zip. In addition to this, there are 54 Sunday 4pm games--this is kind of a semi-featured slot, where you have at least a better chance of seeing your team on TV. 108 team slots. They couldn't even throw us a bone here. Ripoff! [end rant]
  9. May all your depraved twisted lunatic dreams come true! Happy 85th!
  10. One of the funny lines from the recent Shatner Roast: Comedian Jeffrey Ross turns to Shatner & says, "You sir have let yourself boldly go!"
  11. Just say no... To sweater vests! Do not allow these people into your home. If you had known better, that Steelers game might have turned out differently and the Bills would not be the laughing stock they are today, with all 16 of their games at 1pm on Sunday. Please don't make this mistake again.
  12. I had to turn my back on Him too, one sad January day in Nashville.
  13. And now I must turn my back on you...
  14. Well said! I hope you're right.
  15. Actually, no. It's all quite strange. Fox seems to be screwing Mike Judge over on this one. They have not promoted this movie at all. In fact, it was on the shelf for a while--I think it was completed over a year ago. I read an interview with Mike Judge where he expressed how frustrated he is with all these idiot movie executives. Apparently, Mike Judge and others who worked on the movie were very excited about the project, but the execs gave them nothing but grief. I think it may have something to do with corporate pressure. Some key companies get mocked pretty hard in the movie and there may have been some backlash. I'm not sure this will ever see the wide release that I think it deserves. It might (like Office Space) have to wait for cable and dvd for a large number of people to see it.
  16. Idiocracy In case anyone's curious, Idiocracy is out in limited release. Lucky for me, Atlanta is one of the test markets. This movie is really funny! The premise: average guy from the present gets frozen and wakes up 500 years in the future, where he is easily the most intelligent person in the world. Really great satire of how moronic our culture is. If you liked Beavis & Butthead and Office Space, you will want to see this movie. Hopefully it will open nationwide soon.
  17. Of course, after the treatment, there has to be counseling for the grief and post-traumatic stress disorder.
  18. How 'bout that, he converted to Islam right in the middle of your post.
  19. The least you could've done would be to include a pic... Sssexxxayy!
  20. That's pretty funny. I like the no nonsense style. Is he a Bills fan? If so, I'd like to know what he thinks of our chances this year.
  21. Granted--it's a fine line to walk. Basically, if you get results, you're a genius; if you fail, you're burned at the stake.
  22. I've heard people say about JP: He's a great natural athlete and he is smart, but sometimes he tends to do things his way instead of the "right" way. I actually found this encouraging. This is one of those paradoxical things that one ends up saying about great winners/leaders. It made me think of JK (and Favre and a few other people). These are the confident, creative people who are not afraid to set a higher standard.
