I'm guessing there's an element of "I don't want to be the guy at the toy company who speaks up and seems fixated on balls and looks like a big pervert in front of all the executives." Next thing you know... Li'l Miss rooster'n'Balls...$12.95 plus shipping.
I can only speak for myself. My core values are very well considered and always subject to sound scrutiny. Not that that has anything to do with what we were talking about.
I don't want to take the bait here and get reactionary. So I'll go for a little bit of understatement: I think your comments are kind of tangential and aren't all that relevant to the topic we're currently discussing.
I recently read a really great short story collection by David Benioff called When The Nines Roll Over.
Also, if you like crime fiction, George Pelecanos has a bunch of great novels. Highly recommended. I've been really into his stuff lately.
Technically speaking the DTV/NFL agreement is in violation, simply because the service is not equally available to all consumers--I can't get it and I know others who can't. However, I'm not sure congress will do anything about it. Standing up to big business is not exactly their strong suit.
I really hope they do open it up to the cable companies--I'd snatch it up in a second. But I'm not gonna hold my breath.
Thanks man, but I decided to take the three that tied.
I really thought they were gonna pull it out. Anyway, it was fun. Sure, I'm a loser, but at least I'm not one of those guys who were bragging about betting on the Colts with the spread.
Is it painful not having a soul? Don't bother answering this question because... now I must turn my back on you.
Uh... and it's "FORE," not "FOUR," Mr. Golfpro.
I don't know, I kind of take the position that the 43 yard touchdown pass was a GOOD PLAY. The fact that it won the game for us kind of made it more enjoyable for me. But what the hell do I know, I'm a Bills fan.
I don't think it's even an accurate account. Right after the play, they showed a replay focused on JP the whole time. He appeared to me to be looking over the middle, then discovered Evans coming wide open late and heaved it out there at the last second just as he was hit. If he was locked on Evans the entire time, he would have thrown the ball sooner.
I say the Bills will win this one. Anyone want to bet me? The winner gets to write the loser's signature and it stays for the rest of the regular season. What say?
