I bet Leodis just wanted those brats to sweat it out for a while. Then let 'em off the hook, but with the understanding of how lucky they are. I know that's how I would have played it.
Yup and I'll let everybody think about that and decide which more accurately describes firing your head coach and the guy who fumbled after a tough loss. I won't say anymore because according to Mr.Fairplay, I'm an idiot and it's over my head.
Take another look. The coverage was pretty solid on that play. The quality of the throw and catch were insane.
Not saying Ellison deserves to start. Just saying it's hard to blame him on that particular play.
No, I am not cereal.
I'm not saying he's great, but Ellison's coverage on that last TD could not have been any better. The pass from Brady and the catch from Watson were both just absolutely perfect.
True. And Corner looked pretty damned good. But you try covering Moss. His moves are lighting quick. And Brady has the ball there inside of a blink. At this point, McKelvin still deserves benefit of the doubt. But doubt is running low.
I like the balls-out attitude. Tough, well-played game for the most part. Would have liked to see one or two long balls down the field, or into the end zone, period. But it's a start--they showed spirit.
