Sure, ok "a lot of people" do a lot of things. And it's right to call them out when they do ****ty things.
That's my point. A lot of people behaving badly (aka "down in the dirt culture") does not make behaving badly a good thing. Very basic fallacy that has been in play too much lately.
row_33 still apparently wants to defend this asinine argument so as not to tarnish the image of his petulant tweeting child king.
Another example of behavior that is indefensible. I'm glad she lost her job. Absolutely ****ty of her to post that. I don't think it's representative at all of regular sensible people (conservatives and liberals) who actually care more about being good people than getting caught up in the trenches of closed-minded ideological tantrum-throwing.
However, your argument about it being a "down in the dirt culture" making it ok to act like an !@#$? Still absolutely 100% lame. If you can't see the fallacy, I'm sorry for you.
It's not ok to act like an !@#$. It's not ok when my 6 year old daughter does it. It's not ok for liberals or conservatives or independents. It's especially not ok for people in positions of power & leadership.
Lame defense. It's the same "everybody's doing it" argument that doesn't fly even for little kids when they get caught behaving badly. It's entirely reasonable for people to expect the potus to not act like a petulant a-hole.
I won't debate his accomplishments. I'll grant that he has successfully pushed his agenda in certain areas and, for that, you can say he has been successful. But his general behavior is an embarrassment. He proves himself petty and ignorant and vindictive and small on a regular basis. That part of it is not really defensible in my opinion.
It's absolutely perfect that PPP would take a nice idea from TSW and turn it into something that is all negative. I couldn't imagine a more fitting tribute for this place.
I hate Gronkowski! I remember after his "autobiography" came out, he had to admit that not only did he not write it (obviously!), but he hadn't even READ it! Hilarious.
His hit on T. White and his non-apology and his cry baby rationalization made me hate him even more.
I don't wish anyone to be injured. I hope he gets his justice in the form of a Bills win and Gronk being shut down and frustrated all day.
Edit: I totally agree about the comments here on Tre White. He's class all the way. He honors the Bills and the game.
This is the fundamental problem in my opinion. I'm still holding out hope that this team can eke out a big win and sneak into the playoffs. However, this team's offense is pretty much dysfunctional. They get by when the defense plays great and takes the ball away. And when Shady is able to make a few big plays. If it's a shoot-out type of game or if the Bills fall behind, forget it.
I don't know what SBF's last job was, but it apparently involved having his hands & wrists in perilous circumstances on a regular basis. I'm gonna guess: horse proctologist?
Can do that double-jointy thing where he sort of bends his thumb back weirdly and touches it to his forearm. It’s really useful because he can always get girls super turned on instantly wherever he goes.
SBF is a warm, hospitable host. So much so that, if he invites you over to his place, he typically answers the door in just a loose bathrobe, to help you feel at ease and to show you that he's not all uptight about stuff like that.
