  1. Waste no time. Immediately throw dirt to the face, then work the groin. Those Ivy League dandies never see it coming.
  2. Well, screw you guys. I'm going home.
  3. I don't have anything witty or interesting to add right now.
  4. Good read. I really like Joique. Unless he fumbles multiple times tonight, I think he will make the roster.
  5. The correct answer is get your teeth fixed, a gym membership and some decent clothes. Then go out and find a rich sugar mama.
  6. Yup, it's good to see Roscoe doing well. I'm also excited for Stupar, who seems to have worked himself into the #1 TE spot.
  7. Yup, thank you. I figured it was something like that, but wasn't sure which was counted first.
  8. Let's see. Watching the Bills win a game is enjoyable for me. Watching them lose is sigificantly less enjoyable. So, I'm gonna say 7-9 is better than 1-15. Shocker. The ol' "lose now = draft high & win later" logic holds very little water for me.
  9. I had a really crappy yesterday. So far today, my luck is better. For example, I am the current champion of this thread right here.
  10. Keep moving the chains = more offensive snaps = more touches to go around = everybody happy
  11. I've been watching Trent's eyes a bit too. Actually I think he has improved in this regard. I see him checking multiple options. There were a couple times I noticed him focusing on one receiver, but in those cases it was because he was patiently waiting for the receiver to come free. This was the case with the Parrish TD catch. If you watch that play closely, you see Trent spot Roscoe, then wait a beat for his route (and the passing lane) to develop. I think it takes some poise (and balls and field vision) to do that. I've been very critical of Trent the last couple years. But so far this preseason, I've seen very positive signs. I think he is improving. He looks comfortable in the pocket (watch as he instinctively steps up to avoid the rush from the outside) and is hitting receivers in stride. I think a big part of it is better play calling and play design, but Trent looks like a real NFL QB to me right now. (Just my, admittedly amateur, opinion)
  12. Anybody know the key for those personnel codes?
  13. [quote name='DIE HARD 1967' Good luck on your threads, the season, and GO BILLS!!! -DIEHARD 1967 Sorry to see you go. I really hope you reconsider. We've been losing some very good posters lately. The jackasses around here seem to be driving all the good ones away and the quality of the overall discussion will suffer. The insights of someone who actually played for the team that means so much to us all--that's just huge!
  14. Yes! Intelligent plays, designed to create mismatches and find openings in the D. Amazing how absent that has been the last couple years.
  15. I thought it was pretty cool (and I like Arcade Fire). I tried it with Firefox and it worked with some glitches. I haven't tried it with google chrome yet.
  16. Excellent news! For the first time in a long time, I'm feeling excited about watching the Bills offense.
  17. The related question is how many WR's do you think they keep. Maybe not as many as in past years. I think we'll keep 4 RB's this year plus 1 FB. So there might not be as much room on the roster at WR. Possibly just 5 instead of the 6 or 7 we've seen lately.
  18. Anybody else get a laugh from the Carson Palmer interview during the Bills game? They asked him about how T.O. has helped the team so far. Palmer: "He likes to rub off on all the young guys. He rubs off on all the rookies and the young receivers. He rubs off on Chad."
  19. That's disappointing. Not that I dislike Bob Bradley, but I thought this was a chance to move forward. Klinsmann would be an instant shot of adrenaline in the US system. And I was hearing rumors that if Bradley left, he had a shot with one of the mid-level Premiership teams. I was excited about that because in that scenario, US soccer gains credibility on two fronts, here and abroad. Oh, well... I guess we'll keep seeing Jonathan Bornstein out there in big games.
  20. Boy, the really knew how to make some durable high quality socks in the Sixties.
