I know, but I'm not sure if that's possible. Even if it is, this would not be the place. This mega news company played bully pulpit with a huge number of local affiliates. I'd say that's objectively creepy and that it undermines the idea of free press. However, many people sympathetic with the "fake news" message would probably argue that this is an appropriate counter measure and a legit tactic to try to rescue democracy from those lefty powers trying to hijack it. It's messy. You kind of have to dig in and decide what it means to you.

Obviously, not all speech is protected. Threats, slander, incitement to violence,... But just being a dick and having terrible ideas, people are free to do that. Ideally, we should be grateful to them for so clearly showing us who they truly are.
