  1. The point/excuse about the heat has been driven home now across multiple threads. Fact is Bills weren’t prepared for it.
  2. Dolphins did a great job keeping everything in front of them and forcing check downs. Both their secondary played well and obviously pass rush had a huge impact. Consequence of Allen’s million throws was mostly just wearing out the offense.
  3. It was 8 seconds. And Bass would’ve missed again anyway.
  4. Every team has injuries. They’re not an excuse or justification. Bottom line is the Bills had that game but couldn’t execute in the clutch just like other recent, painful losses. The takeaway isn’t injuries, it’s that Bills lost in very billsy fashion and it continues to be a problem.
  5. Just one game, just one loss. But recurring themes that will undermine a playoff run eventually.
  6. I agree about McDermott. There’s always that element of executing under pressure that they continue to be lacking. And they fail in bizarre fashion reflective of mental collapse. It’s exactly why the Super Bowl hype is misplaced.
  7. Bills cannot execute in short yardage situations. OL is weak and Allen presses or panics partly because of it. They don’t execute in general in pressure spots…mentally soft in crunch time. Perhaps a reflection of coaching, who knows.
  8. Remembering the OL stinks was a nice respite from worrying about the depleted secondary.
  9. Allen’s fumble rate when hit in the pocket has to be nearly 50%.
  10. Bills turn now to struggle with injuries. Could be 3-3 realistically at bye.
  11. Bills have been so fortunate with injuries in recent years. It’s really incredible. About time attrition catches up. Between these injures and schedule, 4-2 or 3-3 at bye is realistic.
  12. Essentially. With dinged up Morse, Davis, and Knox.
  13. Hopefully D can generate a strip/sack or two, because this secondary is getting torched on Sunday.
  14. She is awful in every way.
  15. Safe to assume Hyde and Jackson are out. Probably also Phillips with a tricky hamstring. Poyer will likely be questionable but my guess is he plays. Thankfully Oliver should be back. But the secondary is in big trouble.
  16. Hopefully no one misses significant time along the OL. That’d be trouble.
  17. He’ll be at Bills camp next year no doubt.
  18. Here's a set of numbers to also consider: according to PFF/PFR, Bills had the 6th easiest schedule in 2021 and faced the worst group of QBs based on total QBR. The highs have been high and the lows have been low..."dominance" is relative.
  19. Not sure. But he’s clearly better than Elam.
  20. Hot and humid fray On horizon, herd and cliff Hype train runs empty
  21. I'd say Gilliam was one inaccurate Allen pass away from a career day.
  22. That was impressive how they were able to contain him, especially Bryant's play, and including the corners. Reminded me of their discipline beating Lamar Jackson in the covid playoff game. Defense's physicality and a couple stops in the 2nd quarter flipped that game entirely. It went from a grind to ablaze on a dime.
  23. Hard to miss it when they lost 3 games ago in historic, humiliating, and crushing fashion.
  24. Ehhh huh. Anywho
