49ers are a good team with a good defense. McCaffrey will incorporate into their offense in the coming weeks and Shanahan will maximize him. Today, they just ran into arguably the best team in football. 49ers will win their division.
Deep in their own territory after two straight interceptions, of course they were going to kneel it.
Saints have been the definition of mediocrity. Adding Dalton to the mix gives them potential for ruination.
At least that moves the needle.
First round pick is too pricey for a middle-aged, injury-prone RB no matter his current ability level. Bills have depth issues now and plenty more holes this off-season given their pending UFAs. Can only mortgage the draft (and cheap rookie contracts) in the absolute ideal scenario which is not McCaffrey.
Never too soon to talk draft! 👍👍
So much depends on what they decide to do with Edmunds. No chance Bernard steps in as an effective starter next season (he remains a truly bizarre pick).
For now, I’ll go:
1 - OL/S
2 - S/OL
3 - OL
4 - DT
5- LB/TE
5 - TE/LB
6 - RB
7 - 🤷♂️
The road to SB runs through improved offensive line play, a more balanced ground attack, execution in short yardage situations, execution under pressure, practical coaching decisions, good health, and a little luck.
Offense seems fine other than the usual short yardage issues and poor run game that we’ve come to expect. The differences have been rather subtle so far, perhaps with less circus plays. 👍
