It’s the typical emotional pendulum of an interwebs newsgroup. Group-think shifts wildly because of biases and social media influence. More to the point - it’s all so childish.
Mahomes is so much more accomplished and proven than Allen, these comparisons are a farce.
The comparison only works in head-to-head matchups where their pure skills and athleticism are on display side by side for a moment in time.
Can’t blame any longtime Bills fan for feeling this way. Sometimes these games just aren’t fun and not worth the agitation. No other team gaffes like the Bills.
I said the Bills would fumble immediately after Cousins got stuffed at goal line. Didn’t bother watching OT.
I’m sure he’ll turn it around and put up a few more huge games as schedule eases. Bills aren’t going away.
He’s not close to MVP right now. But the real question is: why was he anointed MVP going into season? I have to believe it’s recency bias from his brilliant playoffs. He was erratic last season too.
Allen continues to be (and has always been) an erratic, turnover-prone passer. A couple outstanding playoff games last year didn’t change that. His anointment as MVP was bizarre.
Have to start wondering why White was activated to the 53. Doesn’t feel like this guy is playing anytime soon. Wish the team could just state what the setback was.
No reason to pull up the draft order and simply list OLs taken after Bernard. Suffice it to say, there’s 3-4 of them within 35 picks following Bernard who are already getting substantial NFL playing time.
They’d probably split reps. Seems to be the Bills style. Brown is the long-term solution, but he hasn’t been all that much better this year than Q anyway.
Any new dramatic close-up footage of his elbow?!? Any doctor diagrams?? How about some elbow shots of one of those skeletons that stand in the corner of your family practitioners office?
