  1. Exactly why the Super Bowl hype was so absurd. Bills can be a great team, but to expect/assume they'll execute consistently against good teams in tight games across a playoff run is half-baked.
  2. It's "mandatory."
  3. Any internal issues are likely some combination of defensive vets vs. White and Dorsey vs. McDermott. And all would be cured with a couple wins.
  4. Could be worse. They could opt for a featured trilogy: Cardinals, Chiefs, Vikings.
  5. I'm impressed by Brady.
  6. I tend to agree. White waffled about covid too. He may just have an apprehensive mindset.
  7. Beane deserves criticism, but as far as this thread is concerned, this guy is bang on.
  8. Jets game definitely felt like the Jags game from last year. Bills have too much talent to get their doors blown off again like that Colts game (although perhaps the Vikings loss was even worse). Another mid-year swoon is sending them down the power (pain) rankings: 1. Chiefs 2. Eagles 3. Vikings 4. Dolphins 5. Ravens 6. Titans 7. Cowboys 8. Giants 9. Jets 10. Bills 11. 49ers 12. Bengals 13. Commanders 14. Chargers 15. Seahawks 16. Bucs 17. Patriots 18. Packers 19. Colts 20. Cardinals 21. Steelers 22. Rams 23. Lions 24. Bears 25. Falcons 26. Panthers 27. Broncos 28. Browns 29. Jaguars 30. Saints 31. Raiders 32. Texans
  9. Need a formal update to worst Bills games of all-time rankings with a new Josh Allen-era chapter.
  10. A shotgun/rollout would have provided him multiple options including run, pass, throwaway. Keep the ball in Allen’s hands moving him away from pressure rather than the predictable sneak behind an OL that rarely gains leverage - Allen was panicked the moment he walked up to the line. Apparently it’s also worth noting a safety would’ve been better than a turnover/touchdown.
  11. Bills do not execute in these types of situations especially in close games. They get bitten by short down and distances consistently. The play calling is questionable, the OL never gains leverage in short yardage, and Allen presses. I hope the team’s “analytics” takes into account the Bills own failures and not strictly league-wide macro averages.
  12. Many have turned on Allen in November about as quickly as they anointed him MVP in August. It’s the typical fluff fan petulance.
  13. True. Except Bills have failed to execute basic fundamentals, particularly in short down and distance, plenty already this season. Sometimes you have to make a prudent play call taking your shortcomings into account.
  14. Injuries are apart of the NFL. Developing quality depth is apart of the NFL. Most seasons are a matter of attrition despite the Bills being very lucky with health in recent seasons. Speculating about injury hypotheticals is pointless and mindless.
  15. Perhaps he’s counting the Packers as a moral loss.
  16. When it’s the Bills though, the opponent gets a %5.0 auto-bump in any situation.
  17. Hines trade was “universally praised”?? Huh. Anyway, he’s not getting reps because he hasn’t absorbed the playbook unfortunately.
  18. Clear difference between Allen rushing a snap where he knows he has to burrow forward behind a blown up line vs. a snap where he can move back and away from pressure.
  19. The context is how bad the OL is. Allen knows they’re about to get blown back and you can see it coming as soon as the lines form up for the snap. Allen panics and presses. It’s happened time and time again. The question is: why QB sneak it when you know you have no leverage, no push from the OL? Should have been some kind of rollout (shotgun?) where Allen has the chance to run for a couple yards or throw it away.
  20. Typical 11-6
  21. Let’s stick to posts and not articles.
  22. Allen is his usual self. People need to stop pretending his two playoff games last year were the norm.
