    Well sure, but unlikely both of those things happen. Allen will be under constant pressure. The D will still be an infirmary ward. Patriots should be favored.

    Based on pure athleticism, yes of course. But Allen has yet to prove he can WIN like Kelly. And that’s what matters.

    A depleted secondary is exposing plenty of players.

    He’s not a pitcher. He shouldn’t have dressed if he couldn’t go more than a few snaps. This is football, it’s not his personal preseason, and that kind of coddling handicaps the D.

    There’s no way that was the right read. Some of those throws are his magnificent highlights and others of those same (forced) throws are his crippling turnovers.
