  1. Most anything is possible, but expecting him to overcome his lack of pass protection, the inconsistency of wideouts this year, and the elbow issue is wishful thinking at this point.
  2. True. But not every injury is the throwing elbow of the most important player on the field.
  3. Bills may not play another game in reasonable weather conditions this year
  4. Couple more threads on this should do the trick.
  5. Nothing wrong with seeing what sticks at this point in the season. But to your point, the issue is taking a step back and recognizing all the personnel mistakes that were made across the offense in the off-season and including a weak draft.
  6. Ranking Bills players doesn't seem fruitful. 1. J. Jefferson 2. T. Hill 3. D. Adams 4. S. Diggs 5. A.J. Brown 6. J. Chase 7. C. Lamb
  7. Just imagine if these guys were still as good and capable as they were in 2019!
  8. He'll likely be back in October. They'll roll with McCoy who's very popular. Cardinals need to focus on their OL and allow the skill positions to settle into place (just like another team I know).
  9. No. QB is the most critical position and worth the gamble if there's a chance you have a good one.
  10. The idea is to maintain the value of divisions. But other than travel convenience or pushing supposed rivalries, I'm not sure why they don't go to mega conferences at this point. I agree the #1 seed in the NFL (bye + 2 home games) is a monster advantage. And yeah, the Bucs could backdoor several teams. 1. Eagles 2. Cowboys 3. 49ers 4. Bills 5. Chiefs 6. Bengals 7. Ravens 8. Vikings 9. Chargers 10. Dolphins 11. Commanders 12. Patriots 13. Jets 14. Titans 15. Giants 16. Lions 17. Seahawks 18. Bucs 19. Jaguars 20. Panthers 21. Packers 22. Browns 23. Falcons 24. Steelers 25. Raiders 26. Rams 27. Saints 28. Colts 29. Cardinals 30. Bears 31. Broncos 32. Texans
  11. I’ve always liked him. His approach was sometimes antagonistic but it seemed to create balance and well-rounded conversation in the grand scheme.
  12. I don’t have the answers. But signing old (washed) familiar vets to the PS with inevitable quick promotions to the main roster is an unfortunate spot to be in at this point of a ballyhooed season. Not bad moves, but they’re desperate and low reward.
  13. John Brown. Cole Beasley. Lordy. None of this bodes well.
  14. Shakir can’t get open. He isn’t ready to be a meaningful contributor. Also this Beasley “rumor” sounds far-fetched. The guy is done.
  15. My take is every team should be drafting seasoned QBs in the 7th round no matter their lack of measurables.
  16. ESPN has a nifty playoff machine. My simulation ends up at: 1 Chiefs 14-3 2 Bengals 13-4 3 Bills 13-4 4 Titans 9-8 5 Ravens 11-6 6 Chargers 10-7 7 Dolphins 10-7 1 Eagles 15-2 2 49ers 12-5 3 Vikings 11-6 4 Bucs 8-9 5 Cowboys 12-5 6 Commanders 9-7-1 7 Giants 9-7-1
  17. That's right. It's not recency bias. It's a different perspective and standard given the Super Bowl/MVP hype. Recency bias was last year when the offense's playoff performances against Pats and Chiefs washed away the season's inconsistencies for most fans.
  18. It's far more likely they move on from Mac Jones. Unless, of course, Belichick chooses to move on.
  19. I'd call it more the OBJ tepidduediligencestakes. He isn't a prize.
  20. NFL rookies often have immediate impact. Evaluation now is fair. Elam C- Cook C+ Bernard D Shakir C Araiza N/A Benford B- Tenuta F Spector D
  21. Winning tough, competitive games against quality opponents is a good thing. Winning games closer than they should be due to a consistent lack of execution and mental mistakes is not.
  22. Are drop stats at all mitigated by QB inaccuracy?
  23. I have confidence in Diggs and Morse. That's it.
  24. His OC’s response might be: “behind THIS offensive line?!”
