  1. Hard to pass judgment on the OCs when the QB continues to miss throws and reads all over the field.
  2. Bernard has been a revelation. No other way to put it.
  3. Bottom line is this team is sniffing the playoffs because of McDermott and his undermanned defense. And he’s certainly returning as head coach next season. I do still think he’ll be under less pressure next season missing the playoffs altogether at 10-7 as opposed to getting blown out in a couple weeks.
  4. Edmunds has been solid over the past two months. Coverage, tackling, takeaways. He’s a big part of their turnaround.
  5. What if the focused Dolphins come out?
  6. There’s nothing ironic about the fact McDermott started beating Belichick only after Brady departed.
  7. That’s a fair assessment. Or perhaps lending personal support for what McDermott dealt with a few weeks ago. Belichick is classy.
  8. Allen is careless and inaccurate and (seemingly) confused and unprepared. His best plays are improvised. And rushing TDs don’t compensate for reoccurring flaws as a passer.
  9. Allen looked fine to me. His performance wasn’t unexpected.
  10. Another tip of the cap to the head coach and his defense.
  11. Need to keep the ball out of Allen’s hands. RUN!!
  12. Allen is a spinning top right now.
  13. Rice’s rightful undoing was the camera footage obviously. Gotta keep your scrums in-house like Dodson.
  14. New England clam chowder, I wish. Delicious! But no celery.
  15. Hamlin didn’t die on the field. He was out of the hospital in a week. He became a household name and made plenty of money from the incident. Good for him. He certainly doesn’t need an award for it.
  16. Who’s more impressive than the Browns right now?? Wow.
  17. Dolphins, Jaguars, Texans, Chargers, and Bengals are also 10/10.
  18. Patriots 19 Bills 20
  19. Allen is capable of MVP-level play, but he flashes and implodes in equal measure. I think that explains the polarizing “narratives”. Anyone who watches the Bills on a weekly basis can admit it’s still in doubt whether Allen can play with the efficiency/consistency necessary to string together a Super Bowl run or MVP season.
  20. No standout QB this year which opens the field and potentially bends the criteria. Nothing wrong with a little intrigue.
  21. A bolder prediction for Wilson would've been that he bounces back to pre-2021 production.
  22. 1. WR Hill 2. RB McCaffrey 3. QB Purdy I don't think anyone else is truly in the conversation at this point. From here, I could pick blindly from the QBs (Tagovailoa, Prescott, Allen, Goff, etc.) and craft an argument.
  23. True. Likely due to the physicality of the game and wear/tear/injuries that level the playing field on any given Sunday. Outside of few exceptions, it's a glut of average or inconsistent teams capable of beating each other given the right circumstances.
  24. “Playing down to competition” is just a back-handed compliment…a throwaway line like “at their best they can beat anyone” (which applies to lots of teams). Bills are an average team among the league’s parity. But it should make for a very interesting playoff tourney.
