  1. LT - Dawkins LG - 1st or 2nd round pick C - Bates (Morse cut for $5M cap savings) RG - free agent RT - Brown (2nd or 3rd round pick to compete)
  2. They'll keep Hines considering they invested a draft pick. He's earned the returner spot and hopefully Dorsey has an epiphany about his use in the offense. Singletary is gone via UFA (thanks and goodbye). Cook won't hold up as a bell cow, so they need to add another RB - likely a vet in free agency. Montgomery, Harris... Gilliam will return. Jones will be forgotten and then inevitably resurface from the dumpster in August.
  3. Reich was a good coach in a bad situation last year. Good hire for the Panthers. It wasn't realistic that he'd settle for an OC gig.
  4. I don't think anyone was wondering. I do hope he finds success on another team's ST unit next season.
  5. Between the scheme and getting handcuffed by a porous OL, I have no faith this team will ever feature TE. Lost opportunity. Obviously, Knox is talented and Morris is a decent developmental backup. I bet they add a bargain vet free agent given their flirtation with Howard last year or, less likely, invest one of the 5th rd picks. I have to admit it’d be hilarious if they re-sign Sweeney.
  6. Stick with how bad the OL was - how Beane got duped by Saffold and how he paid/promoted Bates perhaps prematurely. This doesn’t need to always wind up a backhanded compliment (excuse?) for Allen.
  7. Diggs, Davis, Shakir, and McKenzie all under contract are a solid foundation. But given Diggs’s age, Davis’s inconsistency, and McKenzie’s regression - still need to add another weapon (Davis and McKenzie are UFAs in 2024). Top three draft picks need to be WR, OT, and IOL in any order based on value.
  8. Never wear blue-on-blue or red-on-red again. They’re hideous. Bring back the standing buffalo throwbacks for at least one home game. Miss those beauts.
  9. It wasn’t gaffe/heartbreak, so it’s disqualified.
  10. There’s a “problem” if White can’t perform next season. While there were oddities with him this season, it’s not uncommon for athletes to take over a year to regain trust and form after this injury. Getting him physically back on the field was only step one.
  11. Amazing going into the season the consensus here was that Bills had best and deepest roster in NFL.
  12. Edmunds is incredibly intriguing as far as how they’ll address his situation/position. Have to assume and accept Poyer is gone. Upside: It’s kind of nice that from the entire UFA/RFA class, I wouldn’t blink if any or all of them left. Or if any are brought back on the cheap. They are entirely uninspiring and low impact. Downside: Inevitably, we’ll get yet another quarter of the roster filled with Beane’s one-year contract dumpster dives.
  13. Also, the Bengals are better than the Bills in every way - coaching, personnel, execution. That truth should also factor in.
  14. Cincy is better than the Bills at every position. The change of heart around here feels sudden, in part, because the winning streak was smoke and mirrors against middling teams. The moment the Bills played a quality team, they got smoked. That’s jarring.
  15. I don't know how realistic it is that Dawkins transitions inside. For better or worse (worse), I presume he'll stick at LT for another season. Morse has been terrific, but he's a likely cap casualty (save $5M). Perhaps Bates is better served to move to center full-time. Brown and Doyle compete for spots. Saffold, Quessenberry, Van Roten, Boettger, and Hart should all be gone as UFAs. Inevitably, Boettger/Hart will re-surface at camp 🙄. Anderson, Van Demark, and Mancz also camp bodies. It's rather apparent IOL + OT should be selected as 2 of the first 3 picks in the draft.
  16. Check-the-box presser. There's an evaluation process still occurring and any staff changes would be announced in a separate statement later on. (Obviously, Beane/McDermott aren't going anywhere.) As far as player personnel, Beane is going to be non-committal just two days after the season ended. This presser was for tactful platitudes.
  17. It's wild how the takes on this newsgroup flipped completely upside down during a 3-hour beatdown by Cincy. Simply reacting now, when so much of this was evident earlier in the year.
  18. This isn't so much a "conspiracy" as it is interwebs boredom/silliness. I do wonder who's controlling the donation $$$ and how it's being tracked??
  19. This is your zany way of trying to discredit the Chiefs because you don’t like them? It doesn’t seem worth the effort. Bills should just beat them in the playoffs and save you the time.
  20. 5 straight conference championships, 2 Super Bowls, a championship, and multi-MVP QB. Also, the top seed and favorite this year. Those are reasons I said they’re the best team in the league.
  21. I heard that and laughed. It’d be a burial if not for the Chiefs being the best team in the league.
  22. Perhaps they diagnose ankles better than they prosecute sexual assault. 🤷‍♂️
  23. Coach of the year in his first season is a heckuva story. Bills miss him.
