The expectations for the Bills this season, both here and around media, were a championship and MVP. The Bills disappointed on every level. Saying luck is key is a cop out. The two best teams are in the Super Bowl and they didn’t need luck. They just played up to standard.

The only way this thread has reached 14 pages is if fans assume Beane will trade up again. And Beane trading up again is just not a good idea at all.

Everything here is doused in wishful thinking that every player will max out. They won't. Also, yes, the Bills have beat the Chiefs during the regular season. And we know those games turn out meaningless.

If the choice is to re-sign Edmunds to a multi-year contract OR use that money+ toward an impact free agent OT (not McGlinchey), then the easy answer is OT. That would also free up a draft pick for another LB (in this scenario, likely a 2nd or 3rd round pick).

There’s so many QB needy teams that I assume he’ll get decent money somewhere. Bills will need to find another re-set guy with upside (like Trubisky) or settle for the scrap heap. They better not waste a 5th round pick in another trade for their backup QB!

Keenum is gone as a UFA. You can pencil in Barkley for now. Probably sign another one-year vet from the dumpster (I wouldn’t mind a guy like Gabbert or Rudolph). Bills don’t have 6-7 round picks this year so hopefully a UDFA to add to the mix.

It’s all relative. Purdy exceeded expectations. Allen is his own worst enemy.
