  1. Bills will not be heavy favorites next year. There's no reason to pretend.
  2. More of a shield behind which weaklings express themselves and a lens through which they seek personal validation.
  3. Adding a hall of fame QB to a young, talented roster is not desperation. It’s perhaps a final piece. Yes, they still have to get through the Chiefs. But everyone else would have to get through the Jets.
  4. I assume he’s leveraging the Packers once again and will stay in Green Bay. But if he does go to the Jets, WOW.
  5. Yes, please post the updates.
  6. The return won't be worth a hole at WR1. They're not getting a 1st for him.
  7. Yeah but they're SB winners, so who cares. They have the luxury of flexibility. Must be nice.
  8. A 31 year old QB? He’s still in his prime. Bills ducked one. Carr could’ve had a big impact on the Jets offense.
  9. I wouldn’t be happy with any defensive player in R1. However, they are in desperate need of Edge, S, and LB and so I would understand the pick.
  10. Keep him happy? He’ll miss most of the upcoming season. Perhaps he returns in November but at what effectiveness? Then they’ll have him for his age-35 season after which he’ll be released. He’s not a priority. The signing was a bust.
  11. He can play all 3 interior OL positions poorly.
  12. They know they’re stability at QB away from becoming division favorite. Unless Jets get a capable QB vet too. Both rosters are missing one player to make a playoff run.
  13. Why is this posted here? Chiefs are still champs unfortunately.
  14. They do need one. It’s Rousseau and nobody.
  15. If McDermott, in effect, functions as DC or they promote a lesser assistant into an acting gig, then it would leave the door cracked for Frazier to return. It would be quite the forced marriage at that point though.
  16. It's GM speak to sell a player on a cash-strapped team with few avenues for improvement, i.e. Davis will remain WR2 because their limited resources need to be dedicated elsewhere. To your point, it's more realistic they add depth and competition in the slot than upgrade WR2.
  17. Wow, I hadn't looked until now. Putting these Bills renderings next to any of the other recent stadium renderings is rather pitiful. That being said, I do think the understated(?) Bills design fits the region. I don't have strong feelings about it (except I can't unsee the toilet seat). Going into this, perhaps going into anything related to New York State, the expectations should be modest.
  18. I have no issue where Poyer plays next season so long as it isn't in Buffalo. Time to move on.
  19. Why? This kind of gentlemanly separation happens all the time.
  20. Perhaps worse overall statistically. But hopefully more aggressive and capable of coming up with a big sack or big turnover here and there.
  21. They’re not running it back. Frasier is gone. Poyer is gone. Edmunds is likely gone. Miller will miss at least half the season.
  22. It’s convenient and respectable way to move on. Much like a “mutual decision to part ways.” I’d be shocked if he wasn’t done in Buffalo. Thanks and so long.
  23. The toilet seat is discernible.
  24. Every new contract for an upper echelon player will be negotiated to exceed the one that came before it. Kyler Murray provided the template to hold one's team hostage. These guys have no reason not to ask for the moon.
  25. There's plenty more differences than that. Perhaps the first step in all this should be admitting Allen is overrated.
