  1. Bills need a 33-year-old, slowing LB this year about as much as they needed Terrel Bernard last year.
  2. Beane sure loves his positional flexibility. Like Bates, this guy is better suited as a versatile depth piece not a starter.
  3. Necessary moves just to get under the cap. I don’t expect a big signing that would set them right back. I wish Beane could evaluate talent the way he can manipulate the cap.
  4. Do need a RB1. Don’t want Dalvin. Certainly no use for a late round draft pick.
  5. Bills are in rebuild mode. They should stay the course and keep relatively quiet until the second wave. Maybe dump a couple players for picks in the meantime.
  6. Robinson will be gone by the Bills pick.
  7. Now Beane can move onto Taiwan and Sweeney.
  8. Yeesh. Dolphins and Jets know it’s their time.
  9. So what. This isn’t personal. You don’t know him. It’s about being a football coach. He should be judged in the context of wins and losses.
  10. Not sexy, but these are the types of players/threads that should garner significant conversation right now. Nice job OP.
  11. Other than Allen and Milano, the entire roster could be shot out of a circus cannon at this point.
  12. He’s not wrong about the Jets becoming the AFCE favorite. I wouldn’t trade Allen for Rodgers, obviously, but this would certainly close and latch the Bills 3-year window. It’s probably best for the Bills to take a year to rebuild anyway.
  13. They went all out committing resources for the short-term. And it worked. They’ve earned a couple years to now regroup. It’s an interesting juxtaposition in philosophy as compared to, say, the Patriots and Chiefs.
  14. Of course not. Suggesting Davis for a 2nd is pure fan fluff.
  15. I agree Davis is an ideal WR4 based on his production and skill set. KC playoff game-hype wasn’t going to miraculously transform him into WR2. Just as it didn’t miraculously transform Allen into MVP. Fans bought the hype and so now they’re either disappointed or trying to excuse his drops. For what this Bills offense is trying to be, they absolutely need a WR2, they need Shakir or McKenzie to seize the slot, and they need to continue to rely on Davis in a proper (limited) big play role as WR4.
  16. I like the trade for both teams. Panthers could still trade down (Indy?), recoup assets (‘24 1st?), and still get a top 3 QB if they aren’t enamored with Stroud. Essentially it’d be a means to move into the top 4 for a top 3 QB prospect and not having to be without a 1st next year.
  17. Perhaps he wants to play for Ryan or with a top rookie QB. Or perhaps he wants to play in Houston like his father.
  18. Maybe next year. Wild they now use minority hires as part of the algorithm.
  19. Yeah, I mean there's no secret he'd be in play for the Bills amongst several others. The hope is that they don't trade up.
  20. Davis would fetch a 4th at best. And then you'd be stuck with yet another roster hole.
  21. You could trade just about anyone on this roster minus Allen and Milano. There aren't many cornerstones here due to age, injuries, salaries, disgruntlement (lol), and just plain lack of development. The problem is that opening more holes isn't wise especially when they won't be getting 1st round picks in return.
  22. I thought this thread was rightfully closed. Oh well.
