  1. Really feels like McKenzie is on the chopping block. Cutting him would save $2+M with minimal dead money. They’re probably still hunting for a 7th rd pick for him at this point. Essentially it’d become McKenzie for Harty. Also, have to think they consider WR in the first 3 rounds as a potential WR2.
  2. You mean if Dorsey can actually incorporate him into the offense and if Allen can actually hit him in stride.
  3. Don’t like that contract for what will become a 5’ 6 return specialist. Also, shouldn’t this board be upset about his arrest a year ago?
  4. Have to hope they learned from that mistake.
  5. Hopefully he learned his lesson with Saffold. Both David and Wagner would regress off a cliff with the Bills.
  6. Watch Beane use his sliver of cap flexibility to sign a 33-year-old LB and bring back Singletary. 🎢🧑‍🦽
  7. There’s no comparison between Davis and Hopkins. Davis is a WR4 while Hopkins is still a top 8-10 WR in the league. The debate is whether upgrading from Davis to Hopkins is worth the trade compensation, salary + more cap issues, and risk of aging/slowing.
  8. They won’t be able to fill every hole. Barkley + 6th round pick may have to suffice.
  9. Jamaal Williams D’Onta Foreman Damien Harris Parris Campbell Dalton Risner Rasheem Green A’Shawn Robinson Adrian Amos Taylor Rapp Juan Thornhill ???
  10. Hopkins was very good after returning from suspension last season. Mind you, he released an absurd “don’t call it a comeback” hype video before his first game, but yes he was still very effective. The issue is what compensation he’d cost (likely a 2nd + pick swap), salary/contract issues, and the ever dangerous 30+ age wall.
  11. Davis is a WR4. But he shouldn’t be upgraded with Hopkins for several previously mentioned reasons.
  12. Based on the reports, they probably did. And he chose elsewhere.
  13. It'll be fun after the fact to hear which of these silly Rodgers reports are exaggerated or purely inaccurate. It seems obvious the Packers have had the Jets over a barrel and hard-balling them for compensation.
  14. Their window is right now and they're going for it.
  15. Indeed. Sanders would get swallowed behind the current Bills OL.
  16. It’s far more likely that relying on: Cook, Hines, 5th/6th-rd pick at RB; McGovern and Bates at IOL; 33-yr old Miller coming off knee surgery and not available until November; 33-yr old replacement for Edmunds; and Hamlin/Benford at S… won’t move the needle in areas where this Bills team desperately needs to improve. Wishful thinking can be fun I guess, but if this is the plan, then it’s most certainly a reset year.
  17. They need a reset year. Jets and Dolphins are staying aggressive and it's not realistic the Bills keep pace given the roster and cap situation. A step back this year in hopes they're a contender again 2024. The 3-year window is closed. Still need starters at RB, WR, preferably both G and OT, Edge, MLB, and S. It ain't happening.
  18. Beane does like to fill nearly half the roster with 1-year vet minimums. As for Oliver, who's replacing him as starter?
  19. Well he better draft for need this year. Because there’s a lot of them.
  20. Settling for Cook + Hines and adding McGovern isn’t moving the needle on what the Bills need to balance the offense. Concerning that some fans are already starting to massage this into a viable strategy.
  21. Lazard would be a perfect fit with what the Jets already have at WR.
  22. Best to use an early draft pick for LB and free agency for S. Of course, they also need a pass rusher.😩
