  1. The stance that should be taken is simply laughing at these millionaire athletes and appreciating the entertainment value of their faux drama. Would you rather waste time reading about this or how, say, Elam is getting less reps than Benford?
  2. You “forgot” to mention the best QB in the NFL. That tends to help too.
  3. Who cares about Miller? He’s a waste of money and will be cut after the 2024 season. Beane gave it a good run - he too deserves credit - but we’re experiencing the fall.
  4. That’s the appeal. Cowherd isn’t a click baiter, not a provocateur, nor biased. He speaks intelligently and without a lot of bells/whistles on his show which is refreshing. Bills fans are upset because his points cut deep.
  5. Diggs deserves a lot of credit for helping the Bills achieve respectability (also McDermott). But perhaps he’s peaked with this team and worn out his welcome. Bills need to sell and rebuild.
  6. Either there was a recent development or it’s his first opportunity to make a public show of stubbornness by skipping “mandatory” practice. He likes drama, attention, self-aggrandizement, money, and winning likely equally.
  7. I’ve wanted him since the start of free agency. Why did he last so long?
  8. Must be contract related? Regardless, it doesn’t matter. They’re the champs and have all the flexibility in the world. Probably dump him for more early picks.
  9. This is the most logical explanation and particularly with how the offense sputtered out last season. Then Hall moves on, or isn’t retained or something to that effect, and it piles on with his somewhat random replacement. Seems like something these guys would bicker about.
  10. Fair. And answering questions from the media is part of the job. Why fans would feel bad for any of these players or coaches is bizarre. This is all just the nature of the biz.
  11. McDermott was the right coach to repair the locker room and national perception. He’s a good man who crafted a respected competitor. But he’s not a tactician and comes up short in alarming fashion against elite teams when it counts. He has served his purpose. I hope Pegula accepts this before Allen turns 30.
  12. Since this season is a bit of a re-set anyway, I’d be very interested to know what Diggs could fetch in a trade. I also wonder what impact Hopkins would have on negotiations. Between the cute photo of Diggs watching the Chiefs celebration from afar followed by “13 seconds” and last year’s playoff debacle, it seems the Billsy aura is weighing heavy on him.
  13. Good stuff. At least this has enough entertainment value to waste the rest of June. Perhaps in July we’ll get whispers about Allen’s elbow.
  14. No kidding. Do Bills fans want credit for admitting this? Allen’s peers are Hurts and Herbert. Now that’s actually an interesting trio to debate and rank.
  15. 38 REC 405 YDS 3 TD
  16. FA additions at OL/WR are depth/backup level talent. Harris can be a decent rotational back if healthy. It’s certainly possible Kincaid and Torrence contribute this year, but relying on them is risky particularly the TE. With the Bills continuing to spend on defense and McDermott as HC, it’s not all that provocative to suggest Allen isn’t being maximized.
  17. Lawrence was one of the best QBs in the league during the second half of the season. His improvement is the factor here above all else. The question is whether his trajectory continues.
  18. Burrow has made a Super Bowl, that’s all I meant. Sure there’s context, but that simple fact carries weight in these kinds of debates. (Allen was a disaster in the playoffs last year.) Your point about media is lazy.
  19. No. He hasn’t accomplished anything at least compared to Mahomes (obviously) and Burrow. He’s still too much of an erratic imploder. If he’s able to overcome Beane’s OL this season, then perhaps he creeps back into the top tier conversation. We shall see.
  20. Not sure about your “nightmare” fluff, but that set is indeed intriguing. Cook proved me wrong by the end of last season and I’m excited to see him as the lead back.
