  1. I’ve been waiting to hear something about that elbow again. Feels like only a matter of time.
  2. Nothing wrong with the quote. Allen belongs in “tier 2.” And yes, the issue with him remains inconsistency, primarily related to accuracy and decision making.
  3. Assume Rousseau, Floyd, Oliver, Jones are starters. Ford + Settle rotate inside. Epenesa + Lawson rotate outside. I agree - shop Basham. Perhaps still young and versatile enough to have 5th-6th round value to somebody. Cut Phillips as he's the largest cap savings of the fringe group. Miller to PUP. That's eight. I've liked Ankou in limited action, but don't see a path forward for him. Assume he'll go the way of Bryant who, of course, I also liked.
  4. Oliver is on the field. It’s just that you don’t notice him. I’m not getting tricked again with the Epenesa “dailed in” at training camp fluff. I still get excited about him…don’t know why.
  5. What’s your point? That he’s healthy or good?
  6. My Rocky rankings: I II IV III V Rocky Balboa
  7. Indeed. Indeed. Incomprehensible that Beane didn’t prepare for this inevitability. Shell? Quessenberry? Doyle? My goodness.
  8. What’s supposed to happen? Fake moral outcry? He should be cut.
  9. Who exactly is battling here? Dodson should be the starter based on familiarity and lack of options.
  10. Never fully recovered from the injury.
  11. They're not worse. The concern is there's no significant upgrades across the roster, with the possible exception of Kincaid fulfilling some of these wild expectations. The Bills are dependent on: 1) aging players to overcome injury; and 2) other important starters to surpass recent ability and performance. Cap issues + weak drafts are a challenging predicament.
  12. I still think Shakir figures it out and avoids becoming another “Beane special.” It happens at the start of nearly every camp.
  13. These Allen “injury” updates are “click bait.” If he spilled water down his chest and wiped it off with his hand, these guys would yam about a possible chest contusion.
  14. Should he also sue fan board posters who mindlessly piled on?
  15. There’s no point debating this if you think Mostert and Wilson are somehow a “push” with Cook and Harris. And of course, one Holland doesn’t “overcome” but yet one Milano surely does. You’re locked in and belong here. Let’s just hope you’re not disappointed this season.
  16. TBD busts out the Andy Isabella/Wayne Chrebet comp! Let’s go!!!
  17. Yes. The three games last year are evidence. Dolphins eked one out in the heat. Bills eked one out in the snow. Bills eked out a home playoff game against a D-league QB. Dolphins have done a good job adding high end talent to their roster. There is no gap. Best of all the rivalry is back full throttle.
  18. Contradiction. He’s not Superman. Don’t cower from your own point.
  19. I’m indebted if you can find that answer.
  20. Kill shot! I’m not sure their dynasty can withstand that kind of critique.
  21. Odd to call it “misguided.” That pang of regret would be personal, perhaps selfish. I wouldn’t want the Bills to win their first Super Bowl in an empty pandemic stadium nor against a team whose QB goes down in the first quarter. That long-anticipated payoff needs to be righteous. But that’s just me.
  22. This is an interesting discussion given the averaged pairings and projections. Just throwing darts - Allen is a top 4-5 QB and McDermott is a top 10-12 head coach. Easy to nitpick, but the rankings seem reasonable.
  23. Injuries suck the life out of this sport. Nobody wants an asterisk win over a team without their best player. The attrition is so deflating.
