  1. Beane already made his big moves. They didn’t work.
  2. It may be that the Bills window opens when the Chiefs unlock it… My answer would be the window is about closed on this regime. New management and direction could reopen it. Windows do shatter on occasion. Any given Sunday as they say.
  3. Who disagrees? The offense is Diggs...hopefully this Kincaid/Knox thing works out...and not much else. WRs and RBs are the definition of average paired with a shakey OL.
  4. Agreed. Hopefully he contributes something down the stretch this season and remains a serviceable/rotational pass rusher next season. He'll then be cut. Throwing money at and relying on these vets is a necessary evil since Beane's early picks don't develop. It's a recipe for cap issues and higher risk of injuries.
  5. It's a rightful cut. He shouldn't make the roster simply because there's no one else. This initial 53 will be in pencil. How in the world did they not bring in a viable tackle at this stage?! And yet they have Bernard and Dorian Williams - significant draft capital - sitting on the bench. It's quite remarkable.
  6. Shafted how? Basham is worthless. Much like a lot of the Bills "depth."
  7. Basham was a bad pick from day 1. He slid for a reason.
  8. Those are rotational bodies, marginal backups. Nobody wants them. Or at least wouldn’t be willing to give up value in return. Elam is the obvious answer. But it’ll be tricky to find a partner with a similarly underachieving player w/ upside. Perhaps they can nab a 4th for him and then flip a pick in a separate deal. Unfortunately, the trade ammo is draft picks.
  9. What Bills players do you consider trade ammo?
  10. I agree the Bills fringe players, or “depth,” are not desirable around the league. And even Elam can only go to a select few teams. It worries me Beane will throw a high pick at another veteran quick fix out of desperation.
  11. Hey good call on this.
  12. Deal. You take hope and wishful thinking. I'll take what's actually occurring on football fields.
  13. I'll guess top 5 is Mahomes, Kelce, T. Williams, Jefferson, maybe still Donald. Burrow with an outside shot.
  14. Elam isn't "depth" if he can't play. He's a body. A bust. Luckily he may still have trade value given his youth and possible fit in a different scheme. Bills need to take advantage of that.
  15. Seems realistic. Malik Harrison? I have no clue. But an Elam player-for-player w/ picks for balance has to be on the table.
  16. I thought about CB but couldn’t pull the trigger given the Ramsey injury. Holland alone probably makes them better at safety as well. Hyde and Poyer have been fabulous Bills but low confidence in their health and ability going forward.
  17. Thanks for posting this. Very interesting scoop.
  18. I don’t see the problem there. The crux is that Tua is a capable, above average QB apart of a roster that’s better than the Bills in terms of both starting talent and depth. They’re a dangerous team, perhaps division favorite, so long as Tagovailoa stays on the field.
  19. All things being equal, I was encouraged by Cook, Neal, and Benford. I also wonder if Lewis earned his spot.
  20. QB - Allen RB - Cook, Harris FB - Gilliam WR - Diggs, Davis, Sherfield TE - Knox, Kincaid OT - Dawkins, Brown IOL - Morse, Torrence, Bates, Edwards, McGovern-PUP? DE - Rousseau, Floyd, Miller-PUP DT - Oliver, Jones LB - Milano, Williams CB - White, Benford, Johnson, Neal, Jackson S - Poyer, Hyde, Rapp K - Bass P - Martin LS - Ferguson (34) The rest don’t matter. Keep them, cut them, trade them. Need to go outside the org for multiple players.
  21. Miller was always going to the PUP.
  22. I’d hope the goal is to trade him for another young player in a similar roster predicament to add to a position with less depth, i.e. CB for LB if such a match is out there.
  23. Nope. It’s Rousseau, Oliver, Jones, Floyd in a rotational role, and an injured Miller. The rest is riff raff.
  24. I’d like to see a list of young LBs also on the outs.
