  1. Allen appears unprepared > confused > panicked. Excusing it as “hero ball” gives him too much credit.
  2. Exposed as coach of the year.
  3. There’s no upgrade out there at this point.
  4. Well let’s just say last night was rather billsy!
  5. Allen finding success/consistency in empty stadiums is an underrated point in all this. I hadn’t factored that in before.
  6. Gushing about the opposition after the fact is a lame rationalization.
  7. It was rather comical how they tried to feature Harty early. Those plays had no chance.
  8. No, but perhaps do literally anything other than skipping out of the runner’s way.
  9. It was the second best run of Bills success in your lifetime. Congrats. But now it’s ending.
  10. They’ve said part of the process is retaining your home grown (familiar) talent. Which is a faulty strategy when you don’t draft well.
  11. That wasn’t a whiff. Whiff implies effort and a miss. He hopped out of the way.
  12. Good point. This regime absolutely prioritizes trust and familiarity to a fault.
  13. This regime is on the fade out. The roster will need an overhaul after this season and hopefully Beane and McDermott won’t be making those decisions.
  14. If Beane is still GM in 3 years, the roster may not be salvageable regardless.
  15. Have to admit it was pretty funny.
  16. Harty is good for two yards whenever you want it. 👍
  17. I didn’t think he was terrible overall last night but he’s certainly trending the way of Hyde and Poyer. The amount of holes and needs across this roster at the end of the season will be shocking.
  18. It doesn’t take the loss of Edmunds to expose this version of Hyde and Poyer.
  19. Perhaps it is him. And the handful of “elite” games are the exception.
  20. “Hero ball” and “arm arrogance” are more weird excuses. As if Allen can’t help but put the team on his shoulders. He makes terrible, panicked decisions because he doesn’t trust his OL and can’t read the field. That’s not hero ball. It’s just poor QB play.
  21. Yup. Burrow was hobbled in a rain storm and has more cachet than Allen to excuse it. Allen’s performance is far more concerning.
  22. Clean games from Allen are hard to recall. Just a completed deep ball would be a welcomed surprise lately. He was good against Miami in the snow. Other than that, you’d have to go back to last October.
  23. He got no interest in free agency and circled back to the Bills who, despite age and injuries, paid him for familiarity.
