  1. Talk about being in your own head. Yikes.
  2. Miller is 34 coming off a ripped knee. Hasn’t even been a calendar year. No one with any sense thought he’d be making an impact at this point. Hopefully he can contribute something next season before his inevitable release.
  3. “Reputable” as in still praising the Bills as a Super Bowl favorite? No, not many.
  4. Moss flashed. Good for him. Even though the trade for Hines didn’t work out ideally, it was a prudent move.
  5. LaPorta has been terrific. Bills have no clue what to do with a TE. Kind of like how they have no clue what to do with a man corner.
  6. Dolphins 34 Bills 20
  7. Bills lost because of their best player. With questions about the offense coming into the season, that performance was significant. It’s why the Bills are in a second tier behind the 49er, Dolphins, Eagles, and Chiefs. Of course, everything can change this weekend.
  8. Since Daboll left, it appears there is no perfecting this offense. I guess that means play design is my biggest issue. And it’s only aggravated by poor tackles, poor WRs, and Allen’s decision making.
  9. Yes, Allen’s performance is the lowest floor. Chiefs were missing 2 of their 3 best players in their loss. Bills best player played perhaps his worst game out of the gates. Chiefs are ahead of the Bills right now. Also, I don’t know why some people get hung up on point differential. It’s a silly stat lacking all context.
  10. ^ 49ers, Dolphins, Eagles, and Chiefs as the top four teams right now is obvious. But there’s no way the Cowboys come in at #5 in “power rankings” after that performance against the Cardinals in a 3-game sample.
  11. Does Allen stay efficient and keep the game close or go full imploder? Hoping for the prior but expecting the latter.
  12. There’s been a clear drop-off from Daboll to Dorsey. He was creative. It didn’t always work, but I’d take it again at this point.
  13. They don’t love Spencer Brown. They’re simply committed to (stuck with) him, in part because of cap issues, and trying to make the best of it.
  14. The notion that Harty was going to be an upgrade was the typical baseless wishful thinking.
  15. I agree it’s so hard to do these rankings early on. They can change drastically until there’s a larger sample. Dolphins are #1 because there’s no other unit that rivals the level of their offense right now. Chiefs have earned the benefit of the doubt and will always be in the conversation. Bills are very good, but the fact Allen imploded again in their one tough matchup knocks them down a peg.
  16. Dolphins Chiefs … Bills Ravens Chargers Bengals … Browns Steelers Patriots Colts Jaguars … Texans Jets Titans … Raiders Broncos
  17. Yes, it was a risk. But a good one. He was back-to-back MVP just two years ago.
  18. No reason to clean house. They’ve drafted well lately and have a lot of talent. Any team would struggle losing their starting QB a minute into the season.
  19. Weird number of Bears threads on this board.
  20. 1. 49ers 2. Dolphins 3. Eagles 4. Chiefs 5. Bills 6. Lions 7. Ravens 8. Seahawks 9. Cowboys 10. Packers 11. Browns 12. Chargers 13. Bengals 14. Steelers 15. Colts 16. Falcons 17. Bucs 18. Patriots 19. Saints 20. Rams 21. Jaguars 22. Cardinals 23. Texans 24. Commanders 25. Jets 26. Vikings 27. Titans 28. Giants 29. Raiders 30. Panthers 31. Broncos 32. Bears
  21. Not looking forward to this buzzsaw.
  22. Raiders are horrible. Stuck in QB purgatory.
  23. The point isn’t whether he develops in two years. The point is that currently he’s a scrub. That being said, Bills D was very impressive. But the last two games were never going to prove anything. They were always going to be a convenient rebound from the inevitable Jets loss.
