  1. I'm sure the Bears would prefer to tag/extend JJ. But given Beane's draft record and the likely reality White is done as a Bill, I wouldn't be opposed to trading picks.
  2. And rightfully so. Turnovers and general inconsistency are still apart of the everyday analysis of what Allen is or may become. Mahomes ascended beyond those concerns based on his achievements. Mahomes earned the benefit of the doubt.
  3. Indeed. He’s proven. Champ, MVP. His INTs don’t matter nor does the Denver loss. Chiefs are not going away.
  4. On the whole, NFL is rather boring. It’s good background noise though and I like to catch the occasional wild ending.
  5. No chance at Bengals, Eagles. I’m trying to be confident with 2-2.
  6. Bengals are rounding into form as we knew they would. Jags matchup will be interesting but otherwise I think they roll to Christmas.
  7. Indeed. McDermott’s hamster was on the wheel.
  8. There’s no magic cure for this roster at the deadline. Issues everywhere. Next year will be a pseudo rebuild and I’d prefer Beane not mortgage the future anymore than he already has.
  9. DT is a wasteland. Glad to have Ankou back.
  10. Prediction was 10-7 and in the hunt for a wildcard spot. I think that’s still solid. Although now with injuries on defense, they’re no real playoff threat even if they sneak in.
  11. Oh Beane 😔
  12. Why wouldn’t people “like” this thread? The fascination with Allen being “elite” has become quite pathetic.
  13. I don’t think this qualifies as the typical “let’s find solace in the other team’s problems.” Need more shock value than 90 in a 55.
  14. Allen represents hope and hype for starving Bills fans. Once you undercut him, there’s nothing left to add juice to the tailgate parties. He must be protected.
  15. Agreed. And WR, C, OT, LB, and CB.
  16. Well that’s what a half decent OL can do.
  17. Not sure if it’s Dorsey’s play design or Allen’s recognition that’s the bigger hindrance. I do know Dorsey would look better if the OL could block or if Allen could hit some of these open throws. The ‘ole scramble-right-and-chuck-it has been figured out.
  18. I don’t think so. McDermott could make a move once he reaches “coaching for my job” territory but we’re not quite there yet.
  19. Deck chairs. No good options at this point.
  20. Exactly. And the biggest need of all is for Beane to stop making the decisions.
  21. Well that’s not happening. But more to your point, Beane put them in this hole.
