Seems like a fair deal. He was good late in the year Can sign a starter or even 2 based on the flooded market and draft a player
-
Chris Jones is the main reason KC won the SB this year. If there is a single player in the league right now that we should consider investing huge $ in, it's him. I don't actually expect him to reach Monday unsigned. take him out of their defense, they become an above average unit He is an absolute dominant monster at key moments in games. He can be moved all over the DL. You can draft young talent on offense.
-
I'd take either!
-
Or they've seen enough from Alec A to believe he can play C either as starter or behind McGovern to see how that goes
-
I would definitely consider him in Round 2.
-
With Tre gone, I expect him to compete for starting spot.
-
If we take a DB at 28 just cancel the season.
-
Are we going to be the only team that wastes a roster spot on 2 punters again?

To NYG: 28, 99, 143, 2025 1st & 3rd To BUF: 6th pick Malik Nabers To HOU: Diggs, 4th To BUF: 23rd pick Brian Thomas Jr 60. T’Vondre Sweat We’d still have 5 picks left Beane & Joe Brady playing Madden Mode. Imagine Josh Allen with those 2🤯 But for real…. Beane’s comment about moving up for Allen and if it works nobody cares…. IMO he’s in an aggressive mindset and could move way up the board in Round 1

Bills shock the league draft night To NYG: 28, 99, 143, 2025 1st & 3rd To BUF: 6th pick… Nabers We’d still have 8 picks left. To HOU: Diggs, 4th To BUF: 23rd pick… Brian Thomas Jr 6 picks left and your offense just became dynamite as Beane said at the combine: if it works nobody gives a ****

Joe Brady’s dream is probably to have both LSU WR’s 😎

Compilation of BTJ from Combine on field workouts that 4.34 looked effortless. Overshadowed by Worthy but considering the weight differential it’s nearly as impressive
-
FWIW Nabers thinks Brian Thomas Jr is going to be a Buffalo Bill I’ll assume we’ve shown high interest and Thomas Jr told his buddy Nabers. Thomas called Nabers one of his best friends in the combine interview.

watching Nabers highlights…. Man he’s fun. His start stop movement and acceleration has to be 98% level. Like a ferrari with the best racing brakes you could get. Looks unreal. Plus his ball tracking and yac are high level would anyone do this? 28 99 143 2025 1st 2025 3rd how high does that get us? Could we get to the Giants pick at 6? Another way to look at this is we’d still have 8 picks (2,4,5,5,6,6,6,7) after having drafted Nabers

The much much much too early 2024 expectations thread.

this. I love those guys, but it was time -
If he makes it to Monday, Chris Jones would be the most impactful acquisition possible. He’s 29. Would you give him a 5 year 150 mil deal? I’m guessing that’s ballpark of what he’ll sign for. He’s likely All-Pro level for 3 more seasons IMO
-
Worthy is 5’11 isn’t he?
-
As much as I liked DaQuan, I’d be OK with not bringing him back depending what else we do there if we sign Fatukasi, he can essentially take Jordan Phillips snaps Drafting Sweat would be fun but obviously unlikely to happen. IF Beane takes a few significant swings in free agency, hoping one is higher tier DT Chris Jones was the difference in the playoffs for the Chiefs this year more than Mahomes. He might be a top 10 player in the entire league. If he makes it to Monday unsigned, call his agent and throw a massive offer to him. Get creative, whatever. Just do it. The cap keeps going up by 15-20 mil. His deal could be managed. For starters, you could rework Allen’s contract by extending him and creating even more than the 23 million his restructure will create. Of course we could try to sign Wilkins to ensure he doesn’t grab Josh anymore haha. Fights in camp!!
