Gunner's 2024 Mock Draft - FINAL v3.0 NOW LIVE (p.13)
Warriorspikes51 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Worthy going to Miami is Not. Nice. Would much rather see DT in Round 4-5 (assuming the Longhorns are off the board at 28 and 60) Beane has signed 3 DT's if you include DaQuan. IMO he wanted to feel like the position is no longer a desperate need. -

Diggs cryptic comments - 2024 edition
Warriorspikes51 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
everyone apparently forgot the chaos he caused last off-season with his antics. Even Josh said they were working through some stuff. There are multiple people on here who have legit team sources proven many times over that have said the Diggs situation is not good. Screaming at Josh in his face in the room after games over perceived mistakes is unacceptable. Many of his interviews, he plays on both sides of the fence intentionally to fan the flames. This off-season he did so at the Pro Bowl and with Kay. Then took to X. He absolutely knows what he is doing and how it will be perceived. Plus he’s become invisible in the playoffs. Again, loved the guy since he got here…but I don’t know anymore. IMO Allen could really benefit from a fresh start -
I want both LSU WR’s. Joe Brady, make it happen! In all seriousness, believe it’s highly likely we will target them. If Nabers makes it to 6, Beane will call Schoen. We CAN afford a Julio Jones style trade Or, if BTJ makes it to 16, we call Seattle an elite offensive weapon is far and away the biggest need on this team.

Yes. IMO Beane’s joking comments about taking WR in every round…. he MAY be willing to push chips in 2025 1st, 2nd may be used to move up in 1 or both rounds. Beyond trading for Diggs with a 1st, we’ve never invested premium picks at WR this year is the year with value + need to go after the position very aggressively Beane should approach the draft as if the WR depth chart looks like this Samuel Shakir Diggs is 50/50 gone between now and next summer. Hollis is a good depth player short term. Shorter is a ? if he makes the 53

Diggs cryptic comments - 2024 edition

I still believe there's a real chance he's traded at the draft. My opinion is he's unhappy behind the scenes and wants a change. (his recent twitter "likes" may further indicate that) Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps not. I'd be willing to package him in a significant move up the board or with other picks for Dallas pick 24 Is it better if we keep him? On paper absolutely. I'm not around Josh Allen and the team so who knows -

check out his recent "likes" either using as motivation or agreeing with them. Note one of them he dug up from Spring of 2020.... -
I don't see the defense struggling. Poyer and Hyde aren't the same players. Tre wasn't on the field. Our depth DT's provided NOTHING last year. Bonus, Von COULD return to the player he's been Bernard is very good. Milano will be on the field I still think there's a real chance Diggs is trading during the draft...if a scenario like this plays out. I still believe he wants out. We'll see

To draft a WR or not with 1st round pick
Warriorspikes51 replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
still waiting to see what Blackmon does. Would love for him to accept the contract offer we supposedly presented him with. Take Safety off the board for us. As it is, there's likely to be good value at Safety in Round 4 anyway. No need to take one high -
How about if Worthy makes it to 28 and then a large jump up in Round 2 for Legette. I gave up a 2025 2nd for it in a mock Suddenly you have 2 players that are a threat to score from anywhere and their skill sets complement each other well
-
5 Round Mock. Worthy made it to 28. Leaped up in Round 2 for Legette. Gave up 2025 2nd X Factors. Xavier & Xavier. Our offense goes from below average speed to elite speed

Many may disagree with me, but the value and importance to this team is there to justify taking 2 WR's and possibly trading up in both Rounds to get them.

DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills
Warriorspikes51 replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absurd. This player is 30. No NFL team has a roster full of 25 year olds -
DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills
Warriorspikes51 replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
Phillips is not good IMO and takes costly dumb penalties at the worst times. It's upsetting because he is BIG. DeShawn Williams had 37 & 33 tackles the last 2 years. Phillips had 20 & 15 So just like Austin Johnson had 44 tackles las year (more than Settle, Phillips, Ford COMBINED) this is another upgrade in Run Defense Williams also had 4.5 sacks in December with Denver in 2022 -

To draft a WR or not with 1st round pick
Warriorspikes51 replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only way anything else should even be considered is if a top 12-15 player drops to 28 I’d say 70% chance Beane is moving up for WR. Whether that’s 2-5 picks, into the teens or top 10 will be interesting! -

was more productive than both players combined Oliver DaQuan A.Johnson D. Williams Eli Ankou if Sweat is there at 60, I’d still be very interested. If not that, one of the LSU DT’s in the 4th, the Baylor DT or Northern Iowa DT on Day 3
