  1. 44 tackles last year… More than 3 of our DT’s combined Phillips had 15 tackles. Settle had 14 tackles. Ford had 9 tackles. Huge upgrade in run defense
  2. IMO we could use him as a rotational 1T or 3T. For run defense you could have him and Daquan out there. He’s played DE in a 3-4 too I’m not sure Sean is open to it, but I’d like to see us more unpredictable on D if Sweat makes it to 60, I’m not passing on him just because we signed a player to a 1 year deal. Take him. then you could even mix in some 3-4 looks Milano, Bernard inside. Dorian Williams, Taron / Von / Rousseau outside depending on what look you want to give
  3. If we add another Safety here in a bit, I think Beane may feel more comfortable with the state of the roster. There’s no immediate needs. Therefore, an aggressive move way up could intrigue him more than usual if we don’t add a safety before the draft, keeping one of our 4ths would likely still allow us to add someone to compete with Rapp for starter
  4. There’s a claim we offered him a contract today. Guess we’ll see if anything happens
  5. 5 Round - Offensive Weapon Focused 28. Xavier Worthy WR Texas 60. Xavier Legette WR South Carolina 128. Jaylen Wright RB Tennessee 133. Zak Zinter OG Michigan 144. Kitan Oladapo S Oregon State 160. Jordan Jefferson DT LSU 163. Christian Jones OT Texas
  6. This team needs an elite weapon. I trust that Beane will be able to determine who that is and if needed….move up the board. How high remains to be seen If MHJ did actually express interest to play with Allen, Beane may be more willing to explore a move up it’s a tough call, but if giving up 28,60 and next year’s 1st & 2nd gives us a better chance to prevail against top teams….I’m in
  7. Good job Beane!! A slight overpay IMO but worth it to get a quality rotational player who is already buddies with DQ. Now we won’t feel as much pressure to take DT early
  8. Seattle at 16 is the trade up sweet spot. Thomas Jr is fairly likely still on the board Odunze could even be there as well
  9. well the Panthers lunatic ruined the Guard market by handing out 150 Million between two of them
  10. This is really well done. All the picks seem quite possible for the specific team I like Worthy a lot. He isn’t my 1st choice among those we’d target..but as you mentioned Beane and Sean spoke of explosive plays multiple times. I think Worthy plays bigger than his size. He’s not afraid of contact and sometimes will initiate it to fight for extra yards. Worthy and Samuel being in motion on any given play is a world of trouble for defenses. I love the speed. If Worthy can get himself up to around 180 lbs, and stay under 4.3 speed that would be ideal
  11. I’m glad Hopkins was not part of this trade😅
  12. Ugh. Coleman scares me. As in I’d bet he’s either a franchise cornerstone within a couple years or he’s out of the NFL
  13. he’s never called for squat when we play them it feels like
  14. the 3rd they’re getting is 2025 though!
  15. it’s Schultz and now Adam S. this is a bit shocking IMO. I expected KC to get a 2nd and 4th
  16. Mixed thoughts on this. Great player in their D, likely not quite as successful elsewhere. I just hope the draft compensation isn’t as much as I expect
  17. Well it appears he left SF without a deal. Perhaps he is weighing his options? Some talk he could also return to Indy still
  18. Edwards can increase his value and sign long term or hit the market
  19. Only for Murphy. Not interested in considering any other DT at 28
  20. Good clapping hands that it’s maybe less likely we feel a need to draft a C in Round 1 or 2
